We at Tajug Loro provide three beautiful and comfortable rooms with Javanese design with modern twists. Tajug Loro is the origin name of Joglo, a traditional Javanese house that is the center of this property. The rooms are located adjacent to the main Joglo and the property also houses a coffee shop and a restaurant. We are located in Ring Road Utara, just a three minute walk from Monumen Jogja Kembali.

The space
What used to be a residential area now turned into a family owned business, providing rented rooms, coffee shop, restaurant, and rented office spaces.
Located just right on the street of the Ring Road Utara, our place is relatively free from the busy Jogja traffic but still close enough to access the main tourist areas. A big shopping mall, supermarkets, convenience stores, 24 hour restaurants are all within a 5 minute drive from this property. The Adi Sucipto International airport is also only a 20 minute drive away.

Tajug Loro #1 is located in the second floor and has a capacity of two adults, complete with a semi-outdoor bathroom, a patio overlooking the fish pond and a whole range of facilities and amenities to make you feel at home.

The interior design combined some classic Javanese furniture with a bits of modern touches here and
there. All the furniture and trinkets in the room are all made locally.

Lie sandwiched between the busy Magelang Street and Monjali Street you would have no problem finding nearby restaurants, malls, coffee shops and tourist attractions. We are especially close to Monumen Jogja Kembali a historical monument turned into a lantern park during the night. It sure is a sight to see especially if you are travelling with children!

Hi Im Ardhina! I am one of the host of Tajug Loro! I was born and lived all my life in Jogja, and starting from August (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) I helped my parents turned our childhood home to an AirBnB home! Our house is a decades old traditional javanese wooden house called a Joglo, hence the name of our listing Tajug Loro which the word Joglo was derived from. We tried to bring out old javanese charm in each of our rooms but also instill hints of contemporary inspired by Scandinavian designs.
We hope our listing will be your home away from home and you will experience how is it living in Jogja the way we do!
