One Above Cataract is a comfortable and well-appointed elevated loft apartment, offering space, convenience and ease of stay.

The apartment features two bedrooms. The upstairs loft bedroom includes a queen bed, while the ground-floor bedroom offers a king bed that can be split into two king single beds if required.

The main bathroom is well-appointed with a walk-in shower, bath and toilet. Please note that there are three steps to access the main bathroom. A second toilet and hand basin are located on the ground level near the European-style laundry, which includes a washer/dryer combination.

The apartment also includes a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious dining area, and a living area with unlimited Wi-Fi. Additional features include electric blinds, internal laundry facilities, and heating and air conditioning throughout.

A private balcony provides outdoor space to sit and relax, read a book, or simply watch the world go by. Please note that the outlook from the apartment has changed due to external infrastructure works located opposite the apartment on the riverbank side, including the removal of grass and trees. These works are external to the property and do not impact the comfort, amenities, or quiet enjoyment of the apartment. Major construction activity has now concluded, with final landscaping and re-beautification works pending. As of February 2026 we are awaiting a confirmation date for the landscaping to be completed.

There are two lifts on site. Lift availability may vary due to ongoing maintenance, and while lifts are often operational, there may be times when lift access is temporarily unavailable. In these instances, access to the apartment is via external stairwells only.

For families, a trundle bed, portacot, and high chair are available on request at an additional cost.

Complimentary on-site parking is included and available either outside the Pinot Shop located on Paterson Street in the bays clearly marked with the Cataract on Paterson logo, or at the rear of the apartment building in the TRC car park.

Please note that the four-hour Cataract Apartments guest parking bays are not included and should not be used.

Guest access
Guests have exclusive private use of the entire apartment. Access to the apartment is available via the building lifts (when operational), the rear external stairwell, or directly from Paterson Street through the front entrance.

Please note that lift availability may vary due to ongoing maintenance, and guests may be required to use the external stairwells to access the apartment at times.

As a result, the apartment may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility. If you have any questions about access or suitability prior to booking, please feel free to get in touch.
