One bedroom apartment attached to what once was a historic log bar now an art gallery and frame shop. This business is quiet and is closed at 4:00 every day. The apartment is spacious, about 500 sq ft with sliding door opening to a large deck with table and chairs, propane BBQ, and views of mountains. Lounge chairs are available in the warmer months. It is an ideal location, so close to Chico Hot Springs, 4-5 restaurants and bars, fishing, hiking and the quaint western town of Livingston!

The space
It is in a picturesque location and is clean and charming. The bed is comfy and has a sliding door opening to an 8' x 24' deck and a wonderful view of the mountains and also is private from other homes and the road. There is a large 'L' shaped country kitchen that has a love seat and end table as well as the dining table with seating for 4 and a corner cabinet offering storage of kitchen serving dishes, etc. There is a full-sized washer and dryer with laundry soap and dryer sheets provided. There is no separate living room. Additional $10 for cleaning fee for one-night bookings. Tariff varies according to time of year. If you brought your four-legged, we have a small pet fee of $10 per day up to a maximum of $45, unless the stay is longer than 14 days. Additional pets, slightly more. Please get a quote for longer stays and multiple pets. This fee is not automatically added by Airbnb as host's policies differ. We have a portable cooler for AC. We may have a full size portable cooler available in summer, 2020.

I love the town of Pray! The town is really a wide spot in the road with a post office, art gallery, hair salon, surrounded by ranches and small acreages. The historic Chico Hot Springs is two miles away with its hot springs pool, Saloon, fine Dining Room and Poolside Grille. Other restaurants and bars or saloons are in the area, within ten minutes drive. The mountains are ten thousand feet high and are always beautiful. Horses frolic in pastures and there could be a cattle drive going on right on the road. Yellowstone is 35 minutes away. Emigrant is 3 miles away for a wonderful selection of groceries, even organic.

I love to travel, but also am in love with this beautiful location so near the mountains and Yellowstone Park. Every evening my husband, Gary and I enjoy the changing light in the sky and on the mountains. I am easy-going, enjoy people, desire to do my best at whatever course that might be. It's pleasing to me to provide a place of respite during people's travels. I have travelled all over Europe, a few places in Mexico and Canada! I have a "sleeper" movie that my husband and I always share with our friends, Last of The Dogmen, which features a Montana location and mixes some Native American culture in to an interesting plot. We like country music, much of it connects with my love for classic rock of the '70's. A wonderful musician named Willie K from Hawaii is phenomenal! What a range of talent from Pavarotti to Willie Nelson and Patsy Cline! I love to cook and share good food with friends. A nice glass of wine is always a nice compliment to a good meal! I am from the Seattle area originally which was a very fun place to live! I used to snow ski and sail on Lake Washington, bike and hike a little, play racquetball. Here we hike, enjoy wildlife, snowshoe, and love art. My husband, Gary, is an artist, a painter, and I will be taking time to creative endeavors this winter. I recently retired from the State of Montana where I worked as an appraiser of real estate. Loves in my life, besides people and pets, are real estate, art, travel and a curiosity and enjoyment of other cultures!

During your stay

Slight. We are here to answer questions and make sure everything is in order! We live a few miles away, my husband, Gary, works in the gallery during the day. There is no noise from the business. The apartment is oriented to the backyard and the mountains and is shielded from any minimal road noise by design. Gallery is closed during this time in March and April 2020 due to coronavirus. He may be framing artwork though.
