Peace and quiet

Guests say this home is in a quiet area.
A family place to get away & connect - a dam to swim, tennis court, basketball hoop and a fruit salad orchard with of seasonal fruits, veges, berries & herbs free to pick.
Its a place for kids or furbabies to roam free, enjoying the cubby house, trampoline, tree house, riding bikes, go carting or playing in the forest. You will spot Kangaroos, emu or bunnies while enjoying the serenity, relaxing on the deck overlooking the vines.
We book up to 6mths in advance, message us for other dates.

The space
The house is a rustic farm house with four bedrooms and a cozy lounge with wood slow combustion heater (wood provided). There is air conditioning to the main kitchen/dining/living area and fans in bedrooms. A large deck on the front with a BBQ is the place to hang out all year round and enjoy the view or the grape vines, the dam, the orchard and the tennis court. We are surrounded by forest for bush walking or mountain biking. There are vineyards close by and you are close enough to walk to the pub in town.
This property is suited to people who like to relax surrounded by nature but not be too far from amenities like a vineyard for wine tasting or lunch.

Guest access
You will have the whole house, the orchard. the dam, the forest and our own private tennis court!
The kitchen is equipped with all utensils you might need to cook a meal or bake a cake. Oven, dishwasher microwave and coffee machine (which makes good bean coffee NOT pods).
There are two dining areas, a large table inside and one outside. There is small play area for kids with toys adjacent to the room with the 4 single beds (2 sets of bunks).
There is a TV in the main lounge area.
There are also couches on the deck so you can use this as separate living space while enjoying the view or watching a game of tennis or kids shooting hoops on the basketball net.
Very occasionally, there may be someone working in the orchard when you arrive or leave (and we would always let you know) but generally its all yours.

Other things to note
Our booking window is generally 6 months in advance but if there are dates you are looking for, please message us and we will try and accommodate if possible.
There is a dam on the property and it is suitable for swimming most of the year. There is canoe on the dam which are you welcome to use. We have variety of farm push bikes also available.
The Dam is also something that parents of small children or non swimmers need to be aware of. You might want to bring extra towels for swimming.
There is also a bee hive on the property but well away from the house.

Our family likes to grow stuff - mostly fruit and veges! We like to escape the City to our little orchard and enjoy the fresh air, fresh fruit and just being away from the City. Our kids enjoying riding their bikes freely around the farm, swimming in summer and just roaming about. We enjoy sitting on the deck in the evening and watching the birds and just looking at the view over the orchard and grape vines.
