The Vardo was a great home away from home for the weekend. Mike and Emma were great hosts. Even though it was cold outside, we stayed nice and warm thanks to the heater in the wagon and the extra blankets they provided. The location was perfect for Ubering to Cedar Cultural Center and also The Cabooze. Mike and Emma went out of their way with small little gestures, but I don't want to spoil them for future travelers. Seriously, stay in the Vardo, you won't regret it. We plan to return in the spring!

Great hosts! Pretty much exactly what you'd expect lodging in a gypsy wagon. Super fun experience and welcome warm touches of nice snacks. About a 15 minute walk to Uptown for food and entertainment. Be sure to play pinball at Up Down.

Staying in the Gypsy Wagon was perfect for us. Check in and check out was a breeze. The bed is comfortable and the space is clean. We felt very welcomed. The house and wagon is full of small treasures, make sure you take the time to take it all (URL HIDDEN) is the yard. Mike has a very eclectic style and it shows throughout the property. Both Mike and Emma are easy to talk too. I wish I would have had more time to just relax and hang out. Also the family cat is super friendly and was roaming the house and grounds. The day we stayed it stormed hard that night and the wagon stayed dry and warm. Listening to the falling rain was a great experience. Overall I can not recommend this place enough. It is something special. It is an experience. But it may not be for everyone. The location is great. Close to uptown and a fifteen to twenty minute ride away from St Paul and Minneapolis using Lyft.

This place is sooo cozy and wonderful and Mike is such an incredible and accommodating host. I don’t want to spoil any surprises, but he did small things that made us feel so welcome. The place is very close to Eat Street and more, so a run to downtown Minneapolis is no problem. For any y’all people wondering, I’m 6’5” and fit perfectly on the bed with another person. Don’t let this unique and incredibly snuggly experience pass you by!

Our stay in this Gypsy Wagon was absolutely perfect. Mike was an incredible host, above and beyond. Mike went out of his way to be easy to communicate with. He thinks of the little things and made our short stay one of the best highlights of our trip. We're very glad to have met him, and hope to cross paths again. If you're looking for an unexpected adventure, this cozy Gypsy Wagon is the place for you. Also - the night we stayed was cold and rainy - but we never would have known. The Wagon was warm, comfortable, and almost magic. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.
