Where you’ll be

Stanthorpe, Queensland, Australia

Peaceful yet vibrant country town. The house itself is situated in a quiet, elevated street close to town. Stanthorpe is Queensland’s coldest town and has a unique character based on its farming and tin mining heritage. Seasonal variations in the landscape make it one of the prettiest and most unique towns within an easy day’s journey from Brisbane, Toowoomba or the Gold Coast. Features include award winning cafe Brinx Deli and Cafe, a Wine and Tourism College with fine dining restaurant, award winning local wines and many locally produced gourmet foods such as olives and stone fruit. There are many, quality local businesses where you will find variety and service which far surpasses what is typical in the big smoke! Stanthorpe has a regular craft market and hosts many seasonal events. Small country charm and friendliness which ensures that you have a weekend to remember and come back for!
