This escape is a 2 part tiny home nestled at the base of Taranaki with unmatched mountain views. 15 mins from town and the beach, a stone throw to the mountain and bike tracks this self-contained tiny home is a perfect spot for those wishing to visit Taranaki for an adventure or to unwind. Powered from both solar panels and hydro turbines, this place is as "off-the-grid" as it gets.

The space
On the wider property (my parents home and business) there is a lake with kayaks, farm animals, row boat, glow worms, gardens, walkways all of which are available for you to explore and use.

We do our best to be self-sufficient and sustainable and hence have gardens for our own food production. During time of plenty guest are free to take for the gardens - just ask Linda first. We try our very best to recycle as much as we can, so please help us out in doing so.

Please note:
One of the beds is up a vertical ladder in a loft space, this bed is only suitable for those that are fit and able to climb up and down.
All outside areas are open for the guests to visit.
Young children must be supervised at all times as the lake, stream and farms animals are a potential safety hazard.
The bush walkways can be very slippery when wet, so please walk carefully and do not run.
