Sara was very helpful when welcoming us in Kilkerrin. The house was convenient for our family even if it was a little bit dusty. However, it was a good location for exploring Conamara.

Great family house in fabulous surroundings. Our only regret was not having more time to enjoy all the surroundings. Sara's mother Tina met us down the road and guided us to the house, which was fully equipped with everything we needed. With great sea views to the front and some child-friendly hill walking to the rear (complete with an abundance of blackberries) and some lovely little beaches and harbours nearby, I would highly recommend this house.

A perfect location for a chill-out holiday. The house is spacious & clean, with a well-equipped kitchen. A glass or two of wine outside while enjoying the spectacular view made our holiday so memorable. Tina was a lovely host, and we really appreciated the freshly-caught hake delivered gratis by Michael, who also trimmed the shrub to improve our view! Coynes bar/bistro (4.5 km from house) is an excellent alternative to home cooking, while essential supplies are only 800m away in Leavy's shop and bar. We also spent two nights on Inishmore: the ferry is 45 minutes drive. Clifden and Roundstone are both less than an hour's drive, and the roads wind through some of the most beautiful scenery in Ireland. There are two beautiful beaches within a 15 minutes walk, where we never saw more than a few other people. If you're looking for a tranquil getaway you won't find better.

This is very nice house, it is warm, comfortable and has plenty of space for two people. Both bedrooms have double beds and the bathroom is well equipped with a good shower. Cooking facilities are very good and Sara is an excellent host. I would be very happy to stay here again.

Tina was very welcoming and helpful. The house is in a great location with a great view from the front. The location is quiet, with interesting walks and beaches nearby as well as being a good base for travelling around Connemara. The house is basic but had everything that we needed.

We had a great holiday though the house was disappointing. A bit of basic maintenance would put that right. Connamara is unique and a perfect place to rest and recover.
