Where you’ll be

Bicheno, Tasmania, Australia

We may only have a little town, but there are so many things to do. If you assumed it was a one night stay, you may miss out or be planning your next trip "before" you leave :-)
Great things to do
- The Glass Bottom Boat- a brilliant experience for only $25.
- Have fish and chips at the Gulch- Licenced, check out Bichenos fishing history.
- Local community store for local produce and Tassy gifts.
- Blue Edge bakery- Multi award winning, try a scollop pie or coffee.
- Food & Brew restaurant - If you're wanting a lovely dinner out, just walk.
- Beautiful 9 hole golf course on the edge of town
Never assume a Post Office is just a "Post Office", our Post office also called The Farm Shed has beautiful Tasmanian wine, Gin, gifts etc for a $10 tasting... a brilliant way to spend a fun hour. The ladies there will tell you all about the vineyards histories and are very knowledgeable on such things. You can also post something. :-)
- Freycinet National Park & Wine Glass Bay
- Coles Bay & cruises
- The best wineries and food on the East Coast. In the summer you will find a lot of music in the vines), in the winter you'll find warm snug fires and amazing food. Both are great!
- Many local walks at the end of our street (Blowhole, Foreshore walk, Whalers Lookout, Classic Waubs Bay etc
- Miles of white sand beaches to explore
- Tourist information, chemist, doctors and IGA in town
- Surfing, diving and fishing
The list is endless and we would love this opportunity to share, what people are only now discovering... our
raw unsurpassed beauty and exciting adventures await.

During your stay

Nige is a mad, keen surfer and when he's not travelling the world surfing, he's squiding and golfing all here in Bicheno...
Laura takes care of everything else hahaha.
We feel lucky to live here and after travelling much of the world, always happy and excited to help/share where we can... just a text or glass of wine away.
However if you are interested in personal space... its our job to ensure you receive that too. Your call !
We take your comfort and happiness very seriously as this is "our" life too. We are young retirees with a wonderful passion for our beautiful unspoiled island, looking forward to making your stay a lovely one.
-Please let us know if you are running late and we will ensure there is a light left on for you and its snuggy warm. The
Shops/restaurants shut here quite early, so I can arrange a meal waiting for you for a small price if prior arrangements are made.
Be sure I'll always have some food in the freezer, wine in the rack and beer in the fridge, so don't panic. Just text.
