House rules
This place isn’t suitable for children (2–12 yrs) and the host doesn’t allow parties or smoking.
The Old Toll House is situated between Loch Lomond and Loch Long beside the railway bridge on the A83. The house is just forty minutes from Glasgow Airport and Tarbet Railway Station is a short walk away. Part of the house is over 400 years old. It is said that in the days when it was used as a Toll House Queen Victoria stopped to pay a toll, maybe even Bonnie Prince Charlie and many more famous people from history. We are part of the local heritage trail map. There is a private guest lounge.

The space
Guests visiting the Toll House can expect a comfortable, clean room with wifi, satellite tv, tea /coffee and biscuits. Information packs in each room on local events and guide to the area. There is private parking. We can provide a gluten free/vegan breakfast (if required) We aim to make guests stay as enjoyable as we can so that they may enjoy the beautiful area and spectacular scenery.

Guest access
We have very few house rules as we want to make guests feel at home as much as possible. Guests will have a front door key to come and go as they please. They can access the guest sitting room, downstairs toilet and conservatory. There is also an outdoor sitting area with views of Ben Reoch.

Other things to note
If allocated a front bedroom you will have spectacular views of Ben Reoch and Ben Lomond. However, as the room is facing the main road, during the day the traffic can be noisy. This quietens down in the evening. We have supplied this room with a fan if opening the windows proves too noisy.
