Location

Walland, Tennessee, United States

Our property is like a mini national park. Very quiet, wooded, and peaceful. It's a great retreat, but close to many area attractions. We are about 40 minutes from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, and about ten minutes from Townsend. Being located in the woods, you will hear the sounds of wildlife. We are a working farm. You may hear ducks, cows and chickens. Coyotes sometimes howl at night. Garbage must be put away from a possible bear visit (just let us know and we will get it from you). We have even had squirrels and mice try to set up house in the eaves. We have monthly extermination service, and no critters have ever been sighted in our guest suite of indoor. Sometimes, their noises can be a little annoying. Again, we are in the country. Wifi can be spotty at times. If a constant, strong signal is required please keep this in mind.

Tom and I have been married for 29 years and are living in the family homeplace where Tom grew up. We enjoy reading, gardening, hiking, camping, and our family. We both work from home and want to share this beautiful place in which we are fortunate to live. We love to travel to restful and historical places. We're both fairly quiet and reserved, and expect to stay out of our guests' way, but will always be nearby and happy to assist in anyway.
