A peaceful , romantic and stylish cottage with a great view of the valley .
Our third cottage " Casita Blanca " Spanish for little white house, built in 2019 but it has the timeless charm of french antiques and quality furnishings. It's character and location makes the perfect getaway for a couple who appreciate some luxury touches like authentic french antiques and crystal chandeliers. We do have other two properties under the listings "Casita de Campo" and "Casita de Bosque" to choose from.

The space
Simplicity , style and charm what else do you need ? A very spacious 55 m2 studio cottage with a comfortable front verandah
and firewood burner.
We do supply complimentary firewood for your stay(one big basket of hardwood,matches, firestarters and kindling) from the 1st of May until 30th of August, if you required more the cost of filling the basket is $20.
After the 1st of September until the 1st of May our cottage is BYO firewood.(Unless there is a fire restriction in the area)
All our cottages have cold Puretec filtered water in the kitchen.

Entire cottage with private entrance /garden . From the front you will have views of the surrounding fields. Very well screened windows.

Other things to note
Please note : Our property is serviced by rain water tanks so be conscious of the usage .
After the (Dec 2025) we have not received any good rain so please be conscious of the usage having short showers and do not fill the bath.
We do supply complimentary firewood for your stay(one big basket of hardwood,matches, firestarters and kindling) from the 1st of May until 30th of August, if you required more the cost of filling the basket is $30.
After the 1st of September 2026 is BYO firewood.
Minimum stay 3 nights for long weekends.
All our cottages have cold Puretec filtered water in the kitchen and we only use Non Chemicals (vinegar ,eucalyptus oil, natural lemon/orange) cleaning products.

With a lovely northerly aspect the cottage has 180 degrees views of the valley , private and serene our property offers you 44 acres to explore and a small vineyard to indulge your senses. Severlea is a rural area but only 4 km from the town edge if you like to have lunch or dinner . We are surrounded by some award winning wineries in Stanthorpe like Savina Lane , Whiskey Gully Wines ,Kominos and only 15 minutes from Ballandean State, Golden Grove , Sinphony Hill , Hidden Creek , etc. Recently opened Back Creek Cafe is only 2 minutes away.

Rodolfo and I , Maria Mazar are self confessed travel fanatics , who love history , antiques , architecture and people. Our favourite places are: France, Italy and Spain. We make our wine , we love cooking ,grow our own vegetables and share meals with friends. Family is very important to us and we like to spend time with our four grandchildren. We live in Brisbane but our cottages are a heaven for us and we also visit Stanthorpe as often as we can. Life is too short to drink bad wine.
