One large bed room with a verandah view over the mountain. Giant antique double 4 poster bed and a single bed.

The space
A grand old house in the middle of a heritage listed town. With a wide verandah overhanging the street there is great place to sit and enjoy the sun set. At the rear of the house is a wide verandah with pleasant comfortable old chairs and couches, a great place to relax before dinner or rest during the afternoon. The surrounding area hosts many historic places on the town walk including the beautiful Paradise Park. Enjoy visiting the surrounding art galleries or explore the many interesting shops in the town.

Guest access
The house is great for a group as the dining room lounge room and bathroom is shared. There are two large verandas one at the front upstairs off the two front bedrooms and one out the back off the kitchen and hall. Surrounding area boasts horse studs, mountain ranges with magnificent walks, pubs and internationally reputable art galleries.

Other things to note
There is a Public Hotel next door. This venue can become very roudy on Friday or Saturday evenings depending on their music bill or the local sporting events calendar. We suggest guests use the ear plugs provided if need be.
In addition as the house is situated on the New England Highway. The sound of trucks is to be expected.
There is one bathroom upstairs with toilet, shower and bath. This is shared by all the 4 rooms. As the entire region is in a level 6 drought water is considered a precious resource. The house is in the town water which is usable, however there are jugs of filtered tap water provided if needed. There are also jugs of filtered rain water in the rooms for drinking.
There is a toilet and showers downstairs which is available for the guests to use as well.

The 2 art galleries at either end of town are a big feature here as well and are of an international standard.
