Beautiful sunny apartment with balcony on the 1st floor of a lovely old building on the pedestrianised and chic rue Hoche in Cannes town centre. Our guests love the location as it's just 3 mins walk to the Palais de Festival, Croisette, beach and harbour. The bus and train stations are 2 minutes in the other direction. Shops, restaurants, bars, cafes & markets on the doorstep but in a relatively quiet area with bedrooms at the rear. Aircon/Wifi/Netflix/baby cot/beach chairs & umbrellas & toys.

The space
The position of this sunny bright apartment and it's balcony over;looking a lovely pedestrianized street is what make our guests return year after year. And of course the nearness to the buses and trains and the beach. With the balcony doors open you get just enough bustle to appreciate the atmosphere of this appealing French town but are above it all, so looking down from the balcony with a coffee or a glass of wine is a fun part of any stay in our apartment. All the cool bedrooms are quiet and at the back of the apartment, which can be a consideration in the centre of Cannes. The rue Hoche is very chic and is becoming known as a cafe and food hub but luckily we are at the quiet end of this tree-lined popular street...and are accessible to all the many facilities of Cannes.

You enter the building into a foyer and the apartment is on the first floor up a flight of curving shallow steps. There is also a lift which goes to a half landing just above the apartment.

Other things to note
In Bedrooms 1 and 2 there is a king size bed which can also be made into two singles. In bedroom 3 there is a single bed but another small bed can be put in there for a child. We also have a cot for babies with bedding.

Neighbourhood highlights

This is one of the most popular streets in Central Cannes and has a wonderful buzz. It remains very French in spite of having a very international clientele. The restaurants and cafes are extremely good and busy. Galleries Lafayette and Monoprix are 2 mins walk away as are all the many wonderful shops on the famous rue d'Antibes. The marche Gambetta at the other end of the rue Hoche is open Tuesday to Sunday and is full of fruit, vegetables, clothes and much more.
