Private completely remodeled private basement studio apartment in a mountain community with private entrance & rear deck w/ common area fire pit patio, grill & smoker & laundry room. The space has brand new everything, wet bar, 4K TV with Roku & surround sound, high speed internet and phone service and more. Home is located 4 miles from Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. Over 10 wineries within an approximate 10 miles & 20 breweries within an approximate 30 minute drive.

The space
This space is a completely private basement studio apartment with its own private entrance. The space is located in a mountain home less than 4 miles from Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. The space is a remodeled basement that features a brand new private bathroom with stand up shower, living room area with new couches and a brand new wall mounted 58 inch 4K TV with Roku. Please note that everything is in one large room, there is not a separate bedroom. The space also features a wet bar that includes a wine cooler, microwave and kegorator refrigerator (Not a full kitchen) and refrigerator. The space has a brand new queen bed with brand new memory foam mattress and an additional air mattress for extra guests. Central AC and Heat, loaded with new towels, sheets, dinnerware, cutlery, shampoo, soap, iron, hair dryer and more. The doors exit out to a large private deck that fronts to the forest. The deck exits out to a totally new shared patio space with a charcoal grill and smoker & new custom fire pit with 10 Adirondack wood chairs. This is an open basement, so the bed and the living area are in the same large room along with the wet bar . There is a private bathroom and private entrance. There is a laundry room that is shared with the tenants in the upstairs unit. The laundry room entrance has dead bolt locks for complete privacy from the upstairs guests. For sleeping arrangements the space has a queen bed, access to 2 single air mattress that can be combined together, a couch and a love seat all in one large room. There are approximately 4-5 available pillows and 3-4 available blankets. Our space is ideal for smaller groups, for larger groups, needing more than this, we recommend bringing extra sleeping supplies. The temperature is kept around 70 degrees and is controlled remotely by the host.

Guest access
Guests will have full access to the entire basement apartment and bottom deck. There is a separate upstairs Airbnb unit that is separated by multiple doors with deadbolts. There is a laundry room and storage room in the basement which is shared with the unit above and is secured with a dead bolt lock between this space and the laundry room. unfortunately the guests in this unit will not have access to adjust the thermostat, the thermostat by default stays at 69-72 degrees. The temperature can be adjusted, within reason by the host remotely upon request. The common patio area outside is also a shared space with any potential guests in the upstairs unit. The back deck is your private recreational space.

There are extra supplies in the bathroom shelves and in the laundry room. If you have any trouble locating supplies please contact to host and I would be more than happy to help you locate or provide for you.

Other things to note
We are cleaning this space thoroughly after each guests and we are following the airbnb covid-19 cleaning guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting. After each guest, we are disinfecting all heavily touched areas including door knobs, light switches, faucets, countertops, tables, countertops, bathrooms, remote controls, lamp switches, fan chains. Sweeping and mopping all floors, washing all used sheets, blankets, pillowcases in hot water after each guest. Washing all dishes with hot water. Disinfectant and sanitizer sprays are located in our laundry supply room for use as needed at the convenience of our guests.

The house has a central heating and air system, however the thermostat is not accessible to guests in this unit. The air/heat is controlled by the host remotely and stays between 69-72.

This is a house in a mountain community, approximately 1/2 of a mile of roads are dirt/gravel on the way to and from this property.

The house has private parking in a large driveway

Any use of the grill, smoker and fire pit is 100% at the risk of the tenant and by booking this property the tenant agrees to 100% risk and liability associated with using the fire pit. full fire pit rules will be sent to each guests and by booking this unit they agree to follow the rules and accept full risk and responsibility for use of the pit.

If you choose to use the grill and smoker, you must provide your own charcoal and lighter fluid. If you use the grill please make sure to completely clean using the provided wire brush and scrubber and discard any unused food etc.

If you choose to use this fire pit, you take 100% responsibility for safely using such and full liability for damages resulting from negligent use. Please note that you are in a heavily wooded area with lots of wildlife, loose and falling leaves and sticks. Negligent use could lead to massive damage and/or death.

1.) This is a shared recreational area with the upstairs and downstairs tenants so please share and play nice.

2.) Do not operate the fire pit under the influence of alcohol or drugs

3.) The fire pit must be attended and monitored at all times while fire is active.

4.) All fires must be completely extinguished before the fire pit area is unattended and the fire pit lid on. DO NOT LEAVE AN ACTIVE FIRE BURNING UNATTENDED

5.) Do not burn more than 2-3 logs at once, please use only provided logs or commercial eco logs.

6.) The fire pit lid must be on at all times while an active fire is going. All fire should be contained in the fire pit insert

7.) Never use any sort of igniting fluid including gasoline to start a fire

8.) Never dispose of hot logs, ashes etc, they must be kept in the fire pit insert with the lid on until completely extinguished.

9.) Please be mindful of surrounding neighbors and other guests in the house and please keep noise level down. No late night music outside please.
