Explore the wilderness and natural beauty of Lake Wahwashkesh while enjoying bright, clean, comfortable accommodation. Located one hour from Parry Sound off a 2 km private road, the neighbourhood is a friendly community which promotes the active enjoyment of nature. Activities include; swimming, boating, biking, fishing, hiking and in winter,snowshoeing, skating, cross country skiing, and snowmobiling. Opportunities for photography exist year round. Full breakfast is included.

The space
Located in the loft of our coachhouse, the bedroom is furnished with a Queen bed, side tables, reading lamps, and double dresser with mirror. A bistro table and chairs is situated by the window with a view over the lake. Enjoy the exclusive use of a three piece bath with heated floor, walk-in rain shower, toilet, vanity & mirror.
Included with the price of accommodation is a full breakfast each morning (in the main cottage), limited wifi, and parking on the premises.
Essentials- hangers, towels, bedlinens, soap, shampoo & conditioner, hairdryer, extra pillows & blankets.
Heating- electric baseboard heating in bedroom, plus in-floor radiant heat in hallway and bathroom, hot water heater, & ceiling fan.
Kitchenette- microwave, coffeemaker, tea and coffee pods provided, mini refrigerator with small freezer, cutlery ,dishes, glassware, teapot.
Safety- fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide detector, smoke detector.
Outdoor- BBQ grill, picnic table, Muskoka chairs, use of dock in summer.

Guest access
The loft is accessed through the coach house entrance and you will have your own key to come and go as you wish. Breakfast will be offered in the main cottage.

Please be aware that Wolfhound Cottage is located in a rural setting where black bears, moose and deer, fox and snakes make their home. Do not leave any food or garbage outdoors.
Security Deposit: Should there be any damage to the unit, you may be charged up to $150.

The property is adjacent to a large tract of crown land located in a sheltered bay of Lake Wahwashkesh, a large pristine lake in Whitestone municipality. Here you can experience the solitude and healing properties of nature firsthand.
Snowshoeing trails are available throughout the wooded areas within walking distance from the cottage while extensive snowmobiling trails wind throughout the region. Boating on the 8 km long Lake Wahwashkesh is always a pleasure and never crowded.
