This house is really a jewel and Annmarie and Frédéric made us feel very welcome. It was wonderful to have breakfast with fresh baguette, croissants and orange juice before we started visiting the lovely village of Giverny: the museum, the tomb of Claude Monet and especially his house and magnificent garden. It was my dream for a long time to see where he has worked and now my dream came true. Annmarie and Frédéric have an important part on it. Merci beaucoup pour les jours vraiment agréables!

A beautiful gem tucked away from the world - gorgeously peaceful. Frederic and Annmarie made us feel very welcome and the croissant delivery was a very kind touch - much appreciated.

Le Trou Normand is a truly historic and unique place to stay in one of the most picturesque towns we have ever visited. This is a great place to go if you want to experience life in a small french village, even more so if you are an artist and love Monet. Just a few paces from his house, a great sandwhich, wine, and cheese shop\bakery, and many trails that meander through the hills of Giverny. We had an unforgettable experience, and our hosts made sure to comfort us with a welcoming tour, fresh baguette and croissant every morning, and a kitchen with essentials ready for use. We loved meeting them and staying in this special place. Thanks a lot !

They were accommodating and prepared everything with stocked fridge and a fresh delivery of baguette and croissants in the morning for a truly special stay! The place is beautiful with a wonderful garden and we hope to be back soon!

We had a lovely stay in the charming studio despite the rain, it was cosy and felt like home. There are photograph opportunities abound. It is excellently situated for visiting Monet's House and garden, a short walk away, and just a short drive to Vernon; the old centre of Vernon is well worth a visit. Visiting Paris was also easy from the station in Vernon. We met Ann-Marie briefly but we were able to have a full conversation with Frederic on arrival, his English is impeccable. We were made to feel at home immediately. It's a beautiful house in a beautiful setting. Thank you both.

So much to love. This is a quiet, charming 18th century cottage in the world's most beloved village. With its own hidden garden. We loved the beams, the historic ambiance, the convenient location, and the fresh baguette and croissants dropped off in the morning. The hosts were kind and helpful. Come, read, nap, stroll, and enjoy Monet's water lilies.

Annmarie and Frederic are thoughtful and generous hosts. They fill the refrigerator with great food, and are available for any questions. The cottage is very well-equipped, looks just like the photos, and is in a peaceful and convenient location. It is an easy and pleasant walk to Monet's house, and to several great hiking spots.
