✔ Minutes from Natural Bridge State Park, Muir Valley & Red River Gorge.

✔ Perfect for climbers, couples, hikers & travelers looking for a great affordable location!

✔ Relax with an outdoor deck, a natural waterfall, & beautiful forest atmosphere!

✔ The terrain includes black top and gravel & is steep at times, but I own a small two-wheel drive car, & I have no problems. During the winter months & for general purposes, we suggest that everyone drive cars with 4 wheel drive/all wheel drive.

The space
Deep in Daniel Boone National Forest and the RRG area is the lovely getaway Hidden Falls. This cozy cabin is perfect for a seclusive getaway into nature. This cabin can sleep 2 and with the transcendent waterfall behind the cabin, you'll feel right at home. If you are looking to leave the cabin and spend time outdoors, Hidden Falls is conveniently located just minutes away from Red River Gorge Recreational Area, premium climbing, hiking, zip lines - all during your stay at this Kentucky gem. This charming cabin is not wheelchair accessible. You will have to climb a flight of stairs to reach the cabin and there is a flight of spiral stairs up to the loft. The loft is an open area, and therefore there are no doors to close off the bedroom area. As the waterfall in the back of the property is natural, we cannot guarantee how much it will be flowing, as it is dependent upon the rainfall and is affected by weather. There is no firepit at this cabin.

The terrain to get to the cabin gets steep at times & includes black top & gravel, but I own a small two-wheel drive small car, & I have no problems. During the winter months especially, we suggest that everyone drive cars with 4 wheel drive/all wheel drive.

This cabin is on a well, and the water is treated so it is safe to drink, but often times well water will have a slightly different smell or taste compared to city water or bottled water. We recommend bringing your own drinking water for taste preference/enjoyment.

Guest access
You will have access to the cabin in its entirety. It will not be shared by anyone else.

Other things to note
☑ This cabin is located about 15-20 minutes from Natural Bridge State Park and 20-25 minutes from the entrance to Red River Gorge Geographical Area

☑ The terrain to get to the cabin gets steep at times, 2 hills specifically (one blacktop and one gravel) and includes black top and gravel, but I own a small two-wheel drive car, and I have no problems.

☑ Another thing to quickly note, we suggest that everyone drive cars with 4 wheel drive, although if used to driving on gravel roads, it can be done without

☑ There is no firepit at this cabin.

☑ There is a Charcoal grill. Charcaol is not provided for the charcoal grill. There is a coffee maker. Coffee is not provided.

☑ Red River Gorge has different types of natural inhabitants you will be exposed to, i.e. Copperheads, Ladybugs, Timber Rattlers, Wolf Spiders, Wood Roaches as well as Bobcats and Black Bears.

☑ As the waterfall in the back of the property is natural, we cannot guarantee how much it will be flowing, as it is dependent upon the rainfall and is affected by weather.

☑We have a contract with a national pest control company, in order to provide the cleanest cabin possible.

Hello, Welcome to the Harrison family! My 2 daughters (Amelia and Kelsey), my wife (Patty) and I rent out these cabins together! Like everything in life, we believe that doing things with the people you love make the best experiences. We have been a part of the vacation rental business for 18+ years now, but have just began doing it on our own this year! My family and I love to travel. We enjoy hiking and backpacking, biking, camping, anything really that gets us outdoors! And we of course enjoy a good meal after, whether home cooked or exploring new restaurants. We want your experience in the Red River Gorge area to be the best it can be. I have been coming down here since I was 16 and have brought my family down here ever since then as well. If you have any questions about the best hikes to do, places to eat, or if there are any special requests you have, please don't hesitate to ask! We want you to have the best experience at our rentals that you possibly can.
