Close enough to Muriwai Beach that you can hear the waves at night amongst the calls of native morepork birds.

The Potting Shed overlooks Waimauku Valley and has a beautiful sunset. You will hear an array of native birds and the sounds of the waves from Muriwai Beach. On a clear night the stars are spectacular.

We are a short drive to Muriwai Beach which is a great spot for surfing or sunbathing. There is also a gannet colony which nests on the banks of the beach during summers and some caves that are worth checking out.
