Mimi's road-tripping again, so she's opened her delightful 3 bedroom home to fellow travellers. Her Picton pad is a whimsical mix of modern amenities & eclectic vintage design. The best of the County is at your doorstep

The space
The Space - Super groovy 3 bedroom, 2 storey, 160-year-old home freshly renovated and decorated with a vintage vibe. Throughtfully appointed with everything to make your stay a comfortable one. Mimi's is centrally located in the heart of Canada's new favourite vacation destination.

The house sits on the town hill on a triangular plot of land with a perennial garden in the front. There's a tidy backyard with a new deck and views of Macaulay Mountain, comfortable for dining outdoors but maybe not touch football.

All photos of Mimi's Not Here by Johnny C.Y. Lam except as credited.

Guest Access - You have full run of the place. There is one parking spot on the property, ample street parking (daytime only December - March) and a municipal lot one block away.

Provided for your convenience:
- Linens, bath towels and beach towels
- Soap and shampoo
- Hairdryers
- Iron and ironing board
- Propane BBQ
- Provincial Park Pass for use during your stay (April - November)
- Board games, puzzles, playing cards, a fine collection of vintage cookbooks and reading material

Mimi loves to cook. The kitchen is stocked with equipment (including a dishwasher) and enough pantry staples (spices, olive oil, vinegar, flour, sugar, coffee, tea) to get you started.

Please note: gas fireplace is turned off in July and August.

Interaction with Guests - Mimi's is designed for self-service so you can check yourself in whenever your arrive after 4pm.

You will be provided with a personalized code for the lock box on the front door so you can come and go as you please. There is a guest book full of information to make your stay fun and worry-free, but we're available via text, email or phone if you have any questions.

The Neighbourhood - Mimi's Not Here is on the town hill, steps from Main St, Picton. Most everything you need can be easily accessed on foot: grocery stores, pharmacy, banks post office. Plus things you don't need but really you do: great coffee, cute cafes and boutiques, restaurants, LCBO and The Beer Store, plus a fine historic movie theatre just around the corner.

Mimi's is a stone's throw (if you have a good arm) from the harbour and the friendliest breakfast restaurant in the County. A children's playground, splash pad and skate parke is a short hop in one direction, Macaulay Mountain Conservation Area and its 11km of hiking trails in the other.

Getting Around - There is no public transit so you will need a car to tour the County.

If you want to test your way through some of the more than 40 wineries, tours are offered by a number of local businesses; I'm delighted to send you links and to point you to some of my favourite winemakers.

The Millennium Trail, a converted CN rail line spanning the Country from end to end, runs along the west end of town and is great for walking or biking.

Notable destinations - Sandbanks Provincial Park (15 minutes), Waupoos (10 minutes), Bloomfield (10 minutes), Wellington (20 minutes), North Beach Provincial Park (35 minutes).

One week minimum rental during high season (July and August). Sunday to Sunday only.

3 night minimum rental for holiday weekends.
