Governor's Mansion is located right on the Miramichi River at the point where the river splits at Beaubears Island National Park forming the Northwest Miramichi and the Southwest Miramichi. Spectacular sunsets are common and free. We are located in the former village of Nelson. The City of Miramichi is made up of many former villages and towns. There is no "one" downtown but several commercial areas. We are located in a attractive, quiet neighbourhood. You can walk and cycle along the river.
