The private farmhouse stay (2xQueen, 2xKing Singles) with loft/yoga retreat is immersed in nature, set across 15 acres.

We use all-natural products for a toxin-free, eco-conscious stay (Koala Eco, ironware, cotton & linen only).

Just under 1hr to Byron, 1hr 15min to Gold Coast Airport, 2hrs to Brisbane.

The space
Welcome to Mountain Top Farmhouse – a fully renovated, off-grid, solar-powered sanctuary set on 15 acres of lush rainforest and peaceful farmland, just 10 minutes from the colourful village of Nimbin and under an hour from Byron Bay.

Perfect for couples, family or friends getaway, our minimalist-style retreat is thoughtfully designed for low-tox, sustainable living. We use all-natural Koala Eco products throughout the house for cleaning before each guests arrival, and we also have Koala Eco amenities in kitchen and bathroom for guests to ensure their stay is gentle on their body and the environment. We care about the details for guests who will find all-natural materials for their stay such as iron cookware, cotton and linen bedding and an organic garden outside to pick from. With natural materials, solid timber furnishings, and excellent airflow throughout, the house supports clean air and chemical-free comfort.

You’ll drink pristine filtered rainwater, bathe in chemical-free surroundings and land, and enjoy the quiet luxury of a home powered entirely by high power solar power newly installed.

The farmhouse features:
• 3 bedrooms (2 Queen rooms + 1 with 2 King Singles), all with fans and quality linen
• A spacious loft retreat with books, yoga space, games, and a large DVD library
• A light-filled kitchen with ILVE 6-burner gas oven and all modern cooking utensils
• Deck with hammocks and loungers to take in the fresh air and natural setting
• Outdoor wood-fired BBQ, picnic blankets, and lanterns for evenings under the stars
• Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Bose speaker for your music, podcasts, or Spotify soundtrack

The property’s setting is one of its most unique features—rich in native wildlife, you’re likely to see our local family of wallabies and abundant birdlife. We have delicious raw honey for guests to enjoy in the pantry from our beehives last year (currently there are no working beehives on the property), and we also have an organic veggie patch that offers fresh herbs and seasonal produce to complement your meals.

Set in Beautiful, Lush Rainforest/farm surroundings and a quick drive to the Village of Nimbin, where you will find the best pizza in the northern rivers at Armonica Cafe, on Friday's the have home made pasta on the menu. The Nimbin Pub, is where the friendly local hang an there are bands playing most nights! If you are looking at scenic drive to Byron Bay (just under 1hr via Lismore/Bungalow Road), you will be abel top experience it all, beautiful beaches and surf breaks, restaurants, healthy cafes and shops!
MountainTop Farm house is aprox 2hr 30min from Brisbane and 1hr 15min from the Gold Coast Cooloongatta Airport or 1hr from Ballina Airport.

Alexander is an Argentinian-Australian designer, founder of award-winning furniture brand Derlot and a Brisbane-based design studio and Monique is an Adelaide-born global design editor and founder of The New Slow in Byron Bay. Together, they share a deep care for the natural environment.
