Wendy and Neil really know their stuff. The cottage itself is so cozy and warm when you have the fire going. Waking up in the morning to the sunrise and going to watch the sunset, the property has the perfect little look-outs. The gardens are so beautiful and well cared for, taking into consideration the native plants and animals that need to be cared for. My partner and I really enjoyed our little weekend get-away and are very keen to return to see how much changes in the summer!

A beautiful place nestled away in the countryside, with great access to the Grampian National Park and surrounding areas. We loved our time here and wished we could have stayed longer. Also, Wendy's crab apple jam is delicious, be sure to try some if it's available!

A wonderful little cabin in a magnificent property. The fire was toasty and perfect to get away from it all. Great spot for day trips to the Grampians.

We loved staying in Wendy and Neil's cottage. It was relaxing to sit by the fire and read, or wander around their grounds - scrambling up in rocks to watch the morning sun's rays stretch over the district, or marvelling at the many types of native plants they have growing. A very relaxing place to stay. Would highly recommend.

Wendy and Neil have a great little cottage with a short drive from Halls Gap, Stawell and Ararat. They were great hosts with fantastic hospitality which made us feel very welcome. Their garden is homely and is great for exploring and looking over the mountains. Great getaway for a few nights.

Neil and I love the bush, and home is Panrock Ridge in the Black Range facing the Grampians. In our gardens we specialise in low-growing and unusual native plants, especially Grevilleas, and nurture the Australian flora and fauna. At home we love propagation & bush regeneration, and we do landscaping and flora surveys across western Vic. Ask us about conservation, natural history books, our beautiful native cut flowers like Banksias and Waratahs or guided/unguided tours. We aim for self-sufficiency with eggs, fruit, berries and vegies & we share if it's ready for picking!
