Self contained cottage set on a 10acre alpaca farm with amazing sunset views of the ocean from a guest deck. 25mins from the Adelaide CBD, 15mins to McLaren Vale wineries or the beach, 3 mins to several Adelaide Hills wineries & the quaint town of Clarendon.Guests are welcome to interact with the alpacas, enjoy the gardens and browse the farm shop. Kangaroos & koalas are often around the cottage. Ideal for a quiet retreat. We have the option of a 2nd Airbnb in our ‘Buckley Estate Farm Retreat’

The space
The cottage is well maintained with a modern ensuite and set in a quiet location. The kitchenette provides microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster and all basic crockery but no stove. There is a small barbecue on the cottage deck and another barbecue on the guest deck near our Farm Shop if you’re looking to enjoy our views. You can also make a nice coffee with the Nespresso coffee machine. We also have a selection of beautiful alpaca products for sale in our farm shop.

Guest access
Guests are welcome to wander around the grounds and enjoy some country life. The alpacas are friendly and we offer up close interaction. We often have several new born alpaca crias which is an exciting time on the farm.
Our farm shop operates online and for our B&B guests and is only open to the public by appointment or on special open days

Other things to note
We offer a generous continental self serve breakfast at a cost of $15 per person. Please ask for this when booking.
We also offer a generous cheese platter and bottle of our Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio or Chardonnay for $65.
We also now offer:-
** Private chauffeured whole day wine tours (tailored to your requirements) Normally $440 (2 people). SPECIAL AIRBNB PRICE -$400. Excludes tasting fees. Early arrival on day of check in.
** Drop off/ pick up service for lunch or dinner. Prices are comparative to Uber. Please book asap to ensure availability.
Also please note that security cameras are only operating outside monitoring our car park and inside our farm shop

Neighbourhood highlights

On the property you feel miles away from city life but there are several main shopping centres within 5 minutes down the hill. We are 3 minutes from the quaint town of Clarendon which hosts a country pub and a great bakery. There are also several small wineries very close by if you don’t want to go into McLaren Vale where there are endless options for great food and wine.
