The space
Our luxury condo is located on the top level of a secure, hillside complex of four condominiums which adjoin the Nautilus Beachfront Resort overlooking Campbells Beach.

You'll be entranced by the sea views out to the horizon, framed by majestic Norfolk Island pine trees, with a clear view of the Solitary Islands with the lighthouse in the distance.

You have exclusive use of the property for your entire stay. Ducted, zoned air conditioning throughout all rooms, ensures total comfort all year round. Brand new, quality comfort top mattresses in the master bedroom and queen bedroom, quality freshly professionally and hygienically laundered linen, doonas, soft bamboo blankets and fluffy white towels, as well as pool towels, are all supplied.

The privately located master bedroom has delightful ocean views; high ceilings; floor to ceiling glass wall for views; a sliding door to the balcony; block out roller blinds; a king sized bed with a new comfort top, support mattress; flat screen TV; walk in dressing room, and an en-suite bathroom with large shower, long deep bath tub, double vanity and private, fully enclosed, toilet room.

Bedroom Two has ocean and garden views, queen sized bed with a new comfort support mattress, built in wardrobes, flat screen TV, block out blinds, en-suite bathroom with shower, vanity and toilet.

Bedroom Three has the option of two long single beds or a king sized bed (please request which option you’d prefer, at time of booking), built in robes, block out blinds on the windows, flat screen TV with DVD player, en-suite bathroom with shower, vanity and toilet.

An additional powder room with a vanity, mirror and toilet is located in the hallway between bedrooms 2 & 3.

Flooded with natural light and featuring high ceilings the contemporary open plan design of the living areas enhances the sense of spaciousness. A timber dining table and comfortable high backed fabric chairs provide a formal dining space for eight.

Large glass doors and windows to north and east provide stunning ocean views from the master bedroom, queen bedroom, kitchen, living and dining areas. The living spaces and master bedroom open onto a covered balcony with a casual outdoor dining setting, 2 sun lounges, plus a Weber BBQ.

The apartment has free WiFi and guests have access to free Netflix on the living room TV with Blu Ray player.

The kitchen is big enough for an entire family of cooks, and is well equipped with a family sized fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine and milk frother, microwave, cooktop and oven, plus every utensil, pan and bowl you may possibly require to self cater whilst on holiday.

Tea, coffee pods, sugar, foil, paper towel, cooking oil, dishwasher tabs and salt and pepper are just a few of the basic pantry items provided to get you started. You can purchase your grocery needs at the nearest shopping centres in Coffs Harbour or Moonee Beach Market.

A family size Weber barbecue and dining setting on the covered patio is the perfect summertime option for enjoying easy no fuss evening meals together.

There is picnic-ware in the kitchen, so you have the option to barbeque down by the resort pool on the beachfront, or picnic at one of the beautiful waterfront reserves at Moonee Creek, Park Beach or Boambee Creek.

There is a double lock up garage for parking of up to two vehicles, and a secure gated entry, with video intercom, to the apartment complex.

We employ dedicated and experienced cleaning personnel to clean the premises following health department guidleines. Our hotel quality linen is professionally laundered to the very highest hygiene standards. If you have any concerns please contact us to discuss.

Location

Sapphire Beach, New South Wales, Australia

It is a very short stroll from the apartment down the resort road to access the very private Campbells' Beach, perfect for an evening stroll or early morning walk; plus three resort pools, and family friendly Thai restaurant. It's only a kilometre up the road to Sapphire Beachfront Cafe for brunch, lunch or coffee whilst the kids play in the playground. A few k's further is Moonee Beach, tidal estuary reserve, shopping centre, cafes and more. From Sapphire, it's just 5 klms south to the largest regional shopping centre in NSW, restaurants, cafes, Coffs Creek Reserve and the locals favourite beach - Diggers, which is patrolled in the summer school holidays, Park Beach which has regular patrols and Park Beach surf club with restaurant, bar and ocean views. The very elderly and the young may prefer the quieter smaller waves at the Jetty Beach which is located on the southern side of the Marina.

Sea water temperatures are around the 20+ degrees in summer with warmer currents coming through from January right up until the end of June, making for a very enjoyable and temperate winter holiday.

Campbell's Beach is a lovely, uncrowded, deeply sandy beach perfect for relaxation and play, however Campbells' Beach is not patrolled and at times, due to an unseen undertow or wave conditions, it may be dangerous for visitors to swim here and we highly recommend you swim at the beachfront resort pool for your safety. If you like fishing and have a recreational fishing license you can catch impressive sized Jewfish off Campbell's Beach when they're running.

Patrolled beaches are located at Park Beach Coffs Harbour, Sawtell and Woolgoolga Main Beaches, where you can swim between the flags when surf lifesavers are on patrol.

Coffs Harbour is renown for its kilometres of unspoilt coastline with uncrowded beaches and beautiful reserves, perfect for picnics and bathing. Walkers and hikers will enjoy the challenge of Solitary Islands Coastal Walk. Muttonbird Island Nature Reserve and the North and South Breakwalls offer an easy to follow path and awesome views for walkers and joggers. Kiddies can ride their scooters and pushies along the waterfront path and stop off at the Foreshore playgrounds.

Surfers love Coffs, with so many beaches and headland breaks to explore, there's usually a wave to ride. Surfing lessons are available for all ages and genders, as long as you can swim in the sea unaided.

Kayak enthusiasts and stand up paddle boarders will delight in our calmer waters in the harbour and tidal estuaries at Boambee Creek Reserve, Coffs Creek, Moonee Creek Reserve and in the Bongil Bongil National Park. Hire a paddle board or kayak at Moonee Reserve and Boambee Creek Reserve ($5 gold coin entry) or take a cultural paddle board tour at Red Rock with the highly recommended Wajaana Yaam Gumbaynggirr Adventure tours.

Scuba diving is popular in the unique marine environment of the Solitary Islands Marine Park and can be arranged through Jetty Dive centre.

Families will enjoy a visit to the Marine Science Centre at Charlesworth Bay, which has wonderful live exhibits of some of the local marine creatures in recreated habitats.

Deep sea fishing charters are available year round from the Marina and winter is the best time for fishing.

Whale watching is a favourite pastime and can be enjoyed from the apartment. Other vantage points are Look At Me Now headland at Emerald Beach and from the viewing platforms on Muttonbird Island Nature Reserve. Charter tours for whale watching can be booked at the Marina during the Humpback whale migration season, from May through October.

Challenge yourselves at Treetops Adventure Park at Sealy Lookout in Orara East State Forest, weave and glide through the treetops on rope courses, with on site instructors and activities suited for adults and kids from 3 years upwards. There's plenty to do in our area for families and plenty of outdoor places for kids to explore.

The hinterland west of Coffs offers visitors a breath of fresh air, with friendly country villages such as Coramba, Glenreagh and Bellingen, pleasant bush walks in ancient forests with waterfalls and picnic areas in the sub tropical rainforests of the Dorrigo National Park, Bruxner Park Flora Reserve, Bindarri NP and Sherwood Nature Reserve.

Restaurants and cafes, craft shops, historical museums, botanical gardens, art galleries and boutiques and all manner of interesting markets, breweries, bars, live music events, an historic cinema, a distillery and places of interest are there to be discovered by the intrepid traveler to our region.

For further inspiration see our personalised guidebook and the Coffs Coast Holiday guide online. We also provide maps and brochures in our information folder supplied in the apartment.

Hi, I assist the owners of Sapphire Retreat Apartment to manage their holiday apartment and provide a personal touch to ensure guests have a contact person at all times. The Coffs Harbour area is famous for its temperate climate and natural beauty, a place where lush green subtropical forests surround a growing resort city, where pretty rural hinterland and coastal villages, stunning unspoilt beaches, tidal creeks teeming with fish life and meandering rivers provide a playground to enjoy all year round. I've travelled around Australia and the Coffs Harbour region has so much to offer the holiday maker, I hope you'll come and see for yourself. Life is an adventure!
