Large self contained annexe , light and airy, in village with wonderful views across the Yorkshire dales national park.
Easy access to pennine way, cycle routes, the 3 peaks .
Two Spacious bedrooms, lounge, kitchen, outdoor space, sleeps up to 6.

The space

BagEnd is a two storey self contained annex which is attached to our house. It contains two double bedrooms with sinks, one on the ground floor and one very large attic room, both with stunning views over the Yorkshire Dales landscape. The space can comfortably accommodate 4/6 adults/children. There is a double bedroom on the ground floor and a very large attic room with a double bed, this room can sleep up to four with additional single beds, the large landing can also be used as an occasional bedroom. Large lounge with two comfy sofas, a tv that plays dvds and a dining table that will seat 4/6. A bathroom with bath and separate shower. Kitchen includes a hob, fridge, microwave and slow cooker. The large garden has a sunny patio with outdoor dining, barbeques welcome. Plenty of secure storage for bikes and equipment and off road parking.

Guest access

Guests will have their own entrance and outdoor area with seating and table. They can access some areas of the garden, the parking area is on our driveway which will be shared. Bicycles can be stored in the garage. We welcome well behaved pets but due to the rural location they must be kept under control in the garden/surrounding land.

Interaction with guests

Most of the time ourselves and our family will be living in the adjoining house and we will be happy to offer any help and advice with your stay in the area. We are very busy with our jobs and will not be around much during school term times. Occasionally we may be away ourselves and we will always inform you if that is going to happen. We generally leave guests alone once we have introduced ourselves but are happy to offer advise.

Other things to note

The house is in a rural location, although there is a local farm shop, it is only open Tues - Sun 10.00 - 4.30pm , the nearest facilities out of those hours are 4miles( Gargrave) 7 (Settle) and 9(Skipton) miles away, guests will need to bring their own food/drink. During the winter months the annexe is heated using LPG fuelled boiler that heats the whole house central heating system which is controlled by a pre set timer. If guests require heating at other times i.e. throughout the night, this can be arranged for an additional cost.

A great spot to stay in the Dales. A comfortable apartment with all you need for a lovely break or base for exploring the area. Jane was a great host. We would happily stay there again.

Jane promptly answered any communications prior to arriving. We arrived later than expected and she greeted us at the door with a warm welcome. The accommodation was comfortable, with a selection of items to choose from for breakfast - orange juice, milk and water in the fridge, tea and coffee. Comfortable beds. If anyone is looking for somewhere near the Winterburn/Skipton area, or a base for walking, this is the perfect situation.
