Interaction with guests
Most of the time ourselves and our family will be living in the adjoining house and we will be happy to offer any help and advice with your stay in the area. We are very busy with our jobs and will not be around much during school term times. Occasionally we may be away ourselves and we will always inform you if that is going to happen. We generally leave guests alone once we have introduced ourselves but are happy to offer advise.
Other things to note
The house is in a rural location, although there is a local farm shop, it is only open Tues - Sun 10.00 - 4.30pm , the nearest facilities out of those hours are 4miles( Gargrave) 7 (Settle) and 9(Skipton) miles away, guests will need to bring their own food/drink. During the winter months the annexe is heated using LPG fuelled boiler that heats the whole house central heating system which is controlled by a pre set timer. If guests require heating at other times i.e. throughout the night, this can be arranged for an additional cost.
We accept well behaved pets but please inform us if you are bringing a dog (s) We do not allow dogs to be left unattended in the property due to the impact on our own dog. We would like noise to be kept to a minimum after midnight. No smoking allowed in the property, but OK outside. Please do not "play" with the piano (daughters rule) Please clear your rubbish away using the recycling bins and leave everything as you found it. Wet/used towels to be placed in the bath tub.
