Set on 150 acres in scenic Molyullah, Dunmore Farm is a retreat where heritage charm meets slow luxury. The 1860s Cottage has been thoughtfully restored, blending character and comfort.

Awarded Airbnb’s Best Nature Stay 2023 and featured in Country Style and The Design Files, this property is celebrated for its considered design and connection to place.

Relax in the cottage, explore the farm, or uncover the beauty of the region’s finest. Dunmore Farm offers a grounded yet elevated escape.

The space
The Cottage at Dunmore Farm is a heritage retreat, where the romance of 1860s craftsmanship meets the ease of contemporary country living. Built from red gum timber milled on the property, its weatherboards and patinaed roof whisper of history, while the interiors are thoughtfully curated for modern comfort.

Inside, natural light spills across pared-back, character-filled spaces. Curl up on a generous sofa by the fire, browse the small library, or stream your favourites through the Bang & Olufsen speaker and smart TV. Air conditioning and heating ensure year-round comfort.

The kitchen is fully equipped for farm-to-table cooking, inviting you to create meals with produce from the garden or nearby farm gates. Meals are best savoured in the intimate dining area—designed for slow, shared moments.

The Cottage sleeps up to six guests across three restful bedrooms: two queen rooms and a king single bunk room. Premium French linens, electric blankets, and wall heaters make every room a cosy haven. A modern bathroom and high-speed WiFi blend seamlessly with the cottage’s timeless charm.

Outdoors, country life unfolds at its own pace. Start your morning with coffee on the veranda, wander through rambling gardens, or gather by the fire pit with a glass of local wine beneath a sky full of stars. For complete restoration, the wood-fired Ember Hot Tub awaits—an open-air soak reserved just for guests.

At Dunmore Farm, The Cottage is more than a place to stay—it’s an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and experience the beauty of the countryside in comfort and style.

Guest access
At Dunmore Farm, The Cottage opens onto a rhythm of country life that is both restorative and real.

Step outside into rambling gardens, gather what the season offers from the orchard or kitchen patch, and collect fresh eggs from our hens for breakfast. Our Bernese mountain dog Bobby, along with Benny and Betty the pygmy goats, often wander by with their own gentle welcome—though we can happily keep them contained if you prefer.

As we are a small working farm, some paddocks and spaces remain private for your safety, yet the land is yours to meander: listen for native birds, watch the light shift across the valley, and simply breathe in the quiet.

Your stay is an invitation to slow down—where meals are made farm-to-table, mornings begin with birdsong, and time moves at the pace of nature.

Other things to note
At Dunmore Farm, we’re committed to making your stay as seamless and restorative as possible. To help you plan, here are a few details to consider before booking:

Accommodation Details
The Cottage accommodates up to six guests, with flexible room-based pricing tailored to couples, families, or groups of friends.

Couples requiring two bedrooms: please adjust your booking to four guests.

Groups of three to five guests requiring all three bedrooms: please adjust to six guests.

Rooms are prepared based on your booking to ensure comfort and fairness for all guests. If you’re unsure, feel free to message us prior to booking.

A Note on Allergies
While The Cottage is offered with every attention to luxury, it is still part of a working farm. If you are highly sensitive or allergic to dust, we may not be the ideal destination, as country living brings with it an element of nature that can’t always be contained.

Not Pet Friendly
As much as we adore animals, The Cottage is not pet-friendly. This helps us preserve a calm and consistent environment for all guests.

Mobile Coverage & WiFi
Optus coverage can be limited in the area. We provide high-speed Starlink WiFi, which is generally reliable, though like any rural service it may occasionally be patchy.

Weddings & Events
Dunmore Farm is also available for weddings, retreats, and private events, offering exclusive use of The Cottage, our restored shearing shed, and surrounding grounds. Please contact us for venue hire packages.

Hosts On-Site
We live on the property and respect your privacy while being available if you need us.
