Unbeatable location

100% of guests in the past year gave this location a 5-star rating.
Set on 150 acres in Molyullah, Dunmore Farm is home to a restored 1860s Cottage within the life of a working farm. Sleeping up to six, the private Cottage combines heritage character with contemporary comfort. Awarded Airbnb’s Best Nature Stay 2023 & featured in Country Style and The Design Files, Dunmore is recognised for considered design and connection to place. Walk designated areas of the farm, collect eggs from the hens, gather from the garden in season, or soak in the wood-fired hot tub.

The space
The Cottage at Dunmore Farm is a restored 1860s home, built from red gum milled on the property and set within 150 acres of working farmland in Molyullah, North East Victoria. Its original weatherboards, verandah and corrugated roof remain, while the interiors have been carefully resolved for comfortable contemporary country living.

The Cottage is entirely yours during your stay, with all three bedrooms available for up to six guests: two queen bedrooms and one bunk room with king-single beds. Premium French linen, electric blankets, wall heaters, air conditioning and heating make it comfortable in every season.

Inside, natural light moves through relaxed, character-filled rooms. Spend an afternoon beside the open fire, browse the small library, play a record or stream through the Bang & Olufsen speaker and smart TV. Starlink Wi-Fi is available throughout the Cottage.

The kitchen is fully equipped for long breakfasts, relaxed lunches and proper dinners. In season, guests are welcome to gather from the kitchen garden and orchard, or cook with produce from nearby farm gates and North East Victoria’s food and wine region. The dining space is made for lingering meals shared around the table.
Your stay includes linen, cleaning, firewood and exclusive use of the private wood-fired Ember Hot Tub. Heat it at your own pace, then soak under the open sky as the farm quietens around you.

Outside, the Cottage opens onto gardens, paddocks and the changing rhythms of the farm. Begin the day with coffee on the verandah, walk designated areas of the property, collect eggs from the hens, spend time with the animals, or settle in around the fire pit as evening falls.

Dunmore is private and peaceful, but it remains a working farm. Weather, livestock, garden work and the changing season are part of the experience—real, unscripted and different each time you visit.

Guest access
The Cottage is set within the working life of Dunmore Farm. During your stay, you are welcome to enjoy the Cottage, its private garden and outdoor spaces, selected walking areas and the wider farm landscape.
Walk the paddocks, wander through the gardens, collect eggs from the hens and gather from the orchard or kitchen garden when the season allows. Farm life changes throughout the year, so what is available to see, pick or experience will depend on the weather, the work of the farm and the season.

You may also meet Bobby, our Bernese Mountain Dog, and Benny and Betty, our pygmy goats, who occasionally wander by to say hello. If you would prefer not to have them nearby, please let us know and we will happily keep them contained.

Dunmore is a real working farm, so some paddocks, sheds, machinery areas and private family spaces are not accessible to guests. These boundaries help protect your safety, the animals, farm operations and the privacy of those who live and work here.

There is no set itinerary at Dunmore. Spend your time as you choose: make a meal with farm and regional produce, sit on the verandah with a coffee, listen for birds, watch the light move across the valley or simply enjoy the quiet.

Other things to note
Dunmore is a real working farm. Weather, livestock, animals, dust, pollen, insects, uneven ground and the ordinary rhythms of country life are part of the setting. While the Cottage is cleaned and prepared with care, it may not suit guests with severe allergies or high sensitivity to dust, pollen, animals or insects.

The Cottage is booked as one private, three-bedroom home and sleeps up to six guests across two queen bedrooms and one bunk room with king-single beds. Your booking includes access to all bedrooms, the Cottage’s private garden and outdoor spaces, linen, cleaning, firewood and exclusive use of the wood-fired Ember Hot Tub.

The Cottage is not pet-friendly.

Mobile reception can vary across the property, particularly for Optus. Starlink Wi-Fi is provided and is generally reliable, though rural service can occasionally be affected by weather.

We live and work on the property and are nearby if needed, while respecting the privacy of your stay.

Gatherings, unregistered visitors, photography or commercial activity must be approved in writing before arrival.
