1 bedroom cottage located on the property of Casa San Gabriel, set in the stunning Umbrian countryside, it has access to the large gardens and swimming pool. The cottage is a full self catering studio cottage with 1 double or twin bed and air-conditioning.

The space
Set in the hills overlooking a beautiful Umbrian Valley, with uninterrupted views as far as Assisi, Casa San Gabriel is a collection of 4 farmhouses dating back to the 16th Century. Lovingly restored by the present owners, the houses feature original beams, terracotta tiles and the latest technology giving ultimate comfort.
It's position set among 3 acres of its own land and surrounded by olive groves and wooded hillsides, gives guests the utmost peace and tranquillity to relax and unwind and the opportunity to walk in the beautiful Umbrian countryside.
There is accommodation for 10 in 3 totally independent cottages (2,4,4), all with private terraces, fully equipped kitchen, sitting / dinning room, central heating, bathroom with shower and wifi access.
The main house offers a communal room with a well stocked library including books, guidebooks and dvds. Guests can enjoy the 14.5m * 4.5m in-ground pool, a wood-burning pizza oven and herb garden.
Swimming Pool: The 14.5m x 4.5m swimming pool is situated on a terrace, with sun beds and umbrellas, at the top of the property with magnificent views across the valley.
The south facing aspect ensures the area takes advantage of the sun throughout the day and its elevated position often brings a cooling breeze for a welcome relief to the heat of the summer.
It is the perfect place to enjoy a cool glass of 'Vino Bianco' and watch the evening sun set across the mountains.
The whole area has been fenced to provide security for children but in such a way that this does not affect the stunning views from the swimming pool.

Playground: A playground is available for use by guests which includes a swing, slide, sand pit and play house and many toys
The owners have 2 young daughters who are always very happy to play with the guests and share their toys.
Alpaca Farm: Casa San Gabriel has 4 pet Alpacas and our guests are welcome to visit them and help feed them.They are wonderful animals and incredibly friendly.

Casa San Gabriel is located on the Tuscan / Umbrian border and is therefore ideally situated to explore Tuscany, Umbria and Le Marche, with Perugia, Assisi, Cortona and Lake Trasimeno all within 30 minutes drive.
Golf: Antognolla Golf Course is located 5 minutes drive from Casa San Gabriel.
The Golf course features a demanding 18 hole Championship course, a club house and bar. The background of Antognolla Castle makes this course unrivalled in terms of setting and quality.

I live at Casa San Gabriel in Italy with my husband and 2 children.
We started our airbnb experience renting our own home Casa San Gabriel and now we look after other homes for our friends in the valley. We meet all our guests that come to visit here in Italy and are on hand to answer any problems.
We are also renting my family holiday home Ferry Cottage in Orford. This is a much loved home and we are so happy that are now sharing it with other families. We have a lovely manager who is on site to answer any problems and look after our guests while they are at Ferry Cottage. We are always on the phone or email to answer any problems you have in Ferry Cottage.

We live permanently at Casa San Gabriel with our family and are on site to answer any questions our guests have. We cook for our guests once a week and hold a weekly pizza night.
