Location

Dwellingup, Western Australia, Australia

Dwellingup is a cute little town in the jarrah forest of southwest Western Australia. It is a popular destination for many outdoor activities, surrounded by hiking and biking trails, and only 9km from Lane Poole Reserve, a protected area of wilderness that includes the Murray River, ideal for swimming, picnics and a gentle canoe trip or a more exhilarating kayak adventure further downstream when winter rains bring the white water. In town you will find shops and cafes, the historic Dwellingup Hotel and the Hotham Valley tourist railway. Major works are just beginning to transform Dwellingup into a mountain biking mecca with the construction of a trails centre and 80km of new mountain bike trails. If you just want to relax and enjoy being closer to nature then Dwellingup has it all and you will have Gallery House as your base to do as little or as much as you like.
