Mallacoota is a quiet coastal paradise surrounded by pristine Croajingalong National Park. It is the eastern most town In Victoria and this property overlooks lake, inlet, ocean and Gabo island. Peaceful setting in quiet court with easy access to walking, fishing and nature trails. Stunning birdlife.
Mallacoota is the hidden jewel of the east and provides a perfect place to stop over for a few days when travelling between Sydney and Melbourne. Mallacoota Coastal Reserve and the Croajingalong National Park showcase 100 kms of beautiful undeveloped coastline, a genuine wilderness coast, listed by UNESCO as a World Biosphere reserve. Mallacoota provides opportunities for nature lovers, beach goers, fishing enthusiasts, bird watchers and anyone wanting a relaxing get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The township is quite small but caters to the needs of holiday makers. Population increases significantly over Christmas and Easter holiday periods but remains a quiet haven for the rest of the year.
There are 2 supermarkets, 2 gift shops, chemist, butcher, bakery, bank, ATMs, newsagent, post office, laundromat, surf shop, takeaway, hotel, golf club, hardware and 3 cafes. Lucy's noodle shop is a local and tourist favourite. There is also a medical centre, Mallacoota District Health Support Service, ambulance and paramedic, 2 petrol stations ( with fishing and camping supplies) and an Automotive and Towing service with RACV . Visit the Mallacoota Visitor Information centre in Maurice Ave to access everything you need to know about the area.
