This is all about location, location, location. Set on a riverbank and within walking distance of the West Coast railway line in Preston. The property is a 3 bedroom detached house, which is my home. The bedroom offered to guests is large and airy with its own en-suite facility that includes a 'stand alone' bath. A television and beverages are available in the room. You are welcome to use the living room and kitchen during your stay. Or sit in the garden and relax if the weather permits

The space
Whilst so close to the city centre, the area is quiet. There is a 'gastro pub' a few hundred yards from the house which situated just along the riverbank. Beyond that are two stunning parks that you can stroll through to access the city centre. Indeed you can be in the middle of the city centre, from my house, without crossing a road!

Guest access
Most of the house is available for your use other than one private bedroom. Most spaces are shared with the owner occupier but your bedroom and en-suite are totally for your personal use during your stay. In the Spring/Summer months there is seating available in the garden where you can relax and take in the peace and tranquility.

Other things to note
A single bedroom is available if booking for 3 people. Should two people wish to use both bedrooms please note they should book suggesting 3 people are due to stay and then let me know that its because they require the use of both bedrooms.

The house is situated on the banks of the River Ribble and the area is popular with runners, ramblers and cyclist in particular. In fact immediately at the front of the property is 'The Guild Wheel' which is a bespoke 26 mile cycle route that skirts the city of Preston....so watch out for those bikes!

I was a workaholic at one time, but that's well in my past! I now work part time for the local council and that's mainly at weekends. I used to work in many cities across the UK and lived out of hotels for many years. It can be a lonely life which is why i now champion the concept of AirB&B. I like chatting with the variety of people who walk through my door. However i do like my own space and hopefully, know when you want yours.

During your stay
I do live on the premises but you may find that I spend a lot of time away from the property. However, I can always be contacted should the need arise. The property can be self-accessed by retrieving your key from a keylock situated outside of the house.
