I grew up camping on my parents block in Yallingup in the 70's. Unfortunately they had to sell the block in 1987. In 2010 I was working for a lighthouse maintenance company maintaining Cape Naturaliste lighthouse and fell in love with the area again. In 2011 my fiance and I bought a vacant block and built the house over a period of almost 3 years. We finished it in 2015 and use it regularly to escape the city and to enjoy the beautiful beaches and forests. Replicating what my parents did with my sister and I, we let our kids explore the bush, and experience a lifestyle that is more relaxed than the big smoke. One day we will move down to Yallingup, but for now we will continue coming down regularly. Favorite travel destination..Hard to pick between Spain, Tanzania, Lao and Thailand. Favorite book- Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance Movie. The Big Blue- Long Version Show- Cirque du Soleil. Food-. easy. Pho (Lao Style) Life motto: Be Excellent To Each Other
