The bay window overlooks a large garden with pear trees, fruit-bearing bushes, and peonies - unless it's winter, of course! The house is set back from a lightly traveled residential road a stone's throw from VCFA campus and a ten-minute walk to downtown Montpelier. A quiet neighborhood and space to get inspired or meditate.

Your space includes the entire first floor which is an open space with a full kitchen, dinning room, living room and bedroom, and a bathroom. Ideal space for a couple.

The space
Once parked in the driveway, you will walk up a stone path through our gardens. Please nibble on a few berries along the way!

The entrance is a shared space with the second-floor guests. From the entryway, you can enter a unique passcode on your door's lock to find your way into your space.

Inside, you will find a studio like setting with a full kitchen - where you can expect to find coffee, tea, and a few other basic items in the fridge or over the counter. A full mattress bed and a small couch that turns into a cot-sized mattress. The TV allows access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, or any other of your subscriptions through wireless internet access.

A floor screen divides the living room from bedroom to create some privacy. The space is ideal for a couple that will share a bed and a kid that can sleep on the sofa/cot. The bed is a full size and is 14" off the ground over a platform.

A washer and dryer are located in the common entryway which can be made available to guests staying for an extended period for a fee. Please inquire if this is of interest to you.

Guest access
Guest can walk around the garden and make use of the outdoor furniture, a pleasant way to spend a summer afternoon.

Other things to note
We have put a lot of effort into being as earth-friendly as possible while providing a comfortable space. We use chemical-free products to clean, purchasing organic bed sheets, and gave wood furniture a second home. You will find non toxic soaps to wash your dishes, hands and body. A compost bucket sits under the sink to collect your food scraps that will eventually replenish Vermont's soil. Right next to it is the recycling bin where you can put metal, plastic, corks, paper, and cardboard. We appreciate if you keep your trash to the minimal.

I love taking care of the earth, family, garden, and community. Enjoy a conversation about fitness trends, healthy food, and the environment. If you want to workout let me know. As a host, I will go the extra mile. I want people to enjoy themselves during their visit. I would do anything beyond my reach to help or fix something if there is a problem. As a guest, I take care of things better than at my own house. I believe in karma so if I do good and take care I hope to get good guests too.
