Somerset Stables is set on a small rural holding with access to the Mogo state forest, close proximity to the beach and Mogo village and is within walking distance to Mogo Zoo. It has modern decor, rich timber floors, vaulted ceilings and is self contained to be comfortable. The Apartment is a loft conversion of our Stable Barn with stair only access, it has a tree top view of the paddocks below with accompanying bird and zoo noises.
We look forward to hosting our guests and sharing our space.

Guest access
Parking is a covered bay at the base of the staircase with a coded key safe. Access will be given on arrival or by SMS. It is essential the key is returned to the safe on departure otherwise you will be liable for the cost of replacement.

Where you’ll be

Mogo, New South Wales, Australia

We back onto Mogo state forest with direct access to the mountain bike trail which has been used for competitions, there is also good opportunity for bush walking. This access has since been decimated by state logging, the access is there but probably not the bike tracks. There are other mountain bike tracks in the area which provide good riding.
Mogo village is 2 kilometres away with quintessential shopping, coffee and lunch.
The famous Mogo Zoo is across the road for a great day out.
Broulee and Tomakin are less than 10 minutes away with great beaches, beautiful coastline,Tomaga river for water sports. There are hire kayaks and stand up paddle boards at the river mouth with surfing lessons available at Broulee.
There is an IGA at Tomakin as well for easy access to suppliers if required.
