Come and stay on our small-scale organic-in-conversion regenerative farm in Waitui, on the Mid-North Coast of NSW. Our beautiful property is the perfect blend of farm and bush - we are tucked away in a quiet and picturesque valley right along the edge of the forest. Meet our pigs and learn about regenerative and organic farming, and you'll also find plenty of other activities in the local area involving food, farming, and nature! Then sit back and relax, surrounded by trees and wildlife.

The space
Our farmstay cottage has 1 bedroom with a queen bed, a full kitchen (including fridge, oven, stove etc) and a bathroom. In the living room, we have a high-quality sofa bed with a thick mattress for additional guests. The covered verandah is spacious and has an outdoor table setting and barbecue, perfect for meals surrounded by the sound of birds chirping in the forest. We can provide a portacot and highchair for infants/toddlers, and we also have an extra single mattress that we can set up on the floor in the bedroom for families/groups of more than 4 people.

Guest access
We are just 15 minutes off the freeway, between Taree and Port Macquarie. Please note the last 5km of the drive is a well-maintained dirt road (fine for all types of cars, 4WD is not necessary). The drive from the freeway to our farm is stunning, as the road takes you through the picturesque Hannam Vale valley into Waitui. If you're lucky, you might even meet some of the local dairy cows on the road!

Guests are welcome to wander around our property, you can even pick some citrus to munch on while you explore. We have pigs, cows, chickens and ducks on the farm, and guests are welcome to visit the animals throughout their stay here (but please note: the first animal visit must be with Sarah or Aaron so we can explain the rules to keep humans and animals safe).

We have pork from our organic-in-conversion pigs for sale throughout the year, and depending on the season we may also have citrus, macadamias and other garden produce available for sale.

Other things to note
Please note this is a working farm and we do have 3 dogs that live on the property. Two are calm and cuddly older dogs and the third is a very energetic and excitable young Kelpie. All three dogs love people - especially kids! We love our dogs and will not lock them up for the duration of your stay - so if you are afraid of dogs, this may not be the right place for your holiday.

Waitui, New South Wales, Australia

Although we are just 15 minutes from the highway, our little valley is secluded and peaceful.

There are many activities on offer in the local community. The Hannam Vale general store serves hot meals and tea/coffee. Our friends have an organic dairy farm down the road (Benmar Farm) - they run enjoyable and educational farm tours which people rave about, and we can put you in touch with them to book in for a farm tour there if you'd like. In summer, you can even go and pick-your-own blueberries at a blueberry farm just down the road.

The beautiful Waitui Falls is just a few minutes down the road. There are plenty of other lookout points and nature walks to do in the area also. We have a creek running along the back of our property, which you are welcome to explore.

During your stay
Your hosts (Sarah and Aaron) will gladly take you around to meet our farm animals and teach you about how we manage things holistically and organically on the farm. We place a high emphasis on animal ethics, organic farming methods, and regenerative agriculture. You are welcome to join in for animal chores during your stay - feeding animals, moving their pens, and checking on the baby animals when we have them! You can have as little or as much involvement with us and our farm as you like!
