This is a rustic studio appartment in a perennial garden with private entrance, private bath, and kitchenette with functional antique farm sink about a half mile from downtown Concord and walking distance to everything, including Main Street shopping and award-winning restaurants. The modest studio has a main room of a little less than 400 sq feet and a full-sized bed. Unfortunately, we do not allow dogs. If you have questions about availability, please email me at dragonflystudio55@gmail.com.

The space
This studio is a remodeled carriage house, part of a New Englander built in the 1890s. This space is less than a mile from Downtown Concord yet is nestled in a quiet perennial garden.

Guest access
Garden, Weber grill, fire pit, and locked garage for bicycles, skis, snowboards, and lake or beach chairs.

Other things to note
Remember to park 5ft from any driveway entrance or intersection. *NOTE*: New Hampshire winters can be severe and the weather unpredictable. We keep the walkways as clear as possible, but it is important for you to be prepared for snow, ice, and mud. Please bring appropriate shoes for this weather. Occasionally, there are emergency parking bans during which you will need to use the map we provide from the City of Concord website to choose a suitable and lawful parking place on the street. There are also parking garages downtown in which you may park for free from 8am-8pm. We are not responsible for your vehicle or for parking tickets/towing. Please use the postings on the City of Concord website and the WMUR website to receive postings about inclement weather and parking safety.

Our neighborhood is walking distance to town with restaurants, shopping, theaters, and several parks. Concord is our state capital so you could also tour the state building. We have a beautiful bookshop downtown, Gibson’s, and the library is walking distance as well. There are several walks you can take as you step off our property, especially if you like strolling passed older, historic homes and buildings. If you take your dog along for your walking adventure, be sure to take along the bags we provide as picking up after your dog is a law in New Hampshire. Pedestrians also have the right-of-way and once you step into those white lines, cars must stop for you. If you have questions about availability, please email me at dragonflystudio55@gmail.com.

I am a writer and writing instructor living in Concord, NH with my daughter, and Lucy Rose. the Boy Cat. I also manage a small cleaning company. Of all the places I have lived and loved—and there have been many—Concord is the closest to the home/vacation combination I have ever come.
