Neighbourhood highlights

Outside the old town on the highest point of Taormina near Castello Saraceno. The main street of Taormina, Corso Umberto, can be reached from a series of stairs to be traveled in about 20 minutes (downhill on foot) and near our apartment there is also a path that takes visitors uphill (20 minutes walk) to Castelmola, a small medieval town famous for its almond wine. Great for those who love to walk.
