Ms Bette’s is a sweet retreat nestled right next door to the candy shop.
The house was renovated by the late Ms. Bette Geraghty who’s spirit and charm can be found throughout with her attention to architectural details.
Enjoy a sit on the front porch, relax in our hot tub or build a cozy fire both in our newly added secret garden.
Firewood is not provided.

The space
We welcome groups big and small. All guests have access to kitchen , living/dining, porch and garden.
To keep our costs low, we block off access to any unneeded bedrooms.
1 or 2 guest booking has access to one bedroom with queen bed.
3 guests will have access to 2 bedrooms each with queen bed.
4 guests will have 2 bedrooms each with queen bed.
5 and 6 quests 2 bedrooms, 1 with queen bed and 1 with double bed and 2 twins.
7-9 guests 3 bedrooms.
You will need to book in accordance to meet your needs.
FYI
****To access the third bedroom with the three beds, you must pass through bedroom two.
****The hot tub is fully enclosed by a privacy fence. You go out the entrance door, and around to the hot tub oasis behind the back of the house.
Guest access
As our guests you will be sent access to our house( your own unique door code) prior to arrival. The door sticks a bit. So enter code, turn down handle and PUSH!!!!
You will have access to living/dining room, kitchen. You will have access to bedrooms and bathroom according to the number of guests you have booked. You and your group will be the only ones in the rental.
There will occasionally be a family member staying in the back of the house which is completely separate and sealed off from the rental with its own entrance.
Other things to note
- If you so choose to use the hot tub, know that accepting our house rules is also your acceptance of a zero liability waiver for it’s use. The cleaning staff, clean , treat, and test the hot tub after every guest. But again, you claim that we are not liable when you accept our rules.
We love the Golden Rule. Please do unto our home as you would want others to do unto yours!!!
We have additional house rules, house details and our expectations posted in our notebook and on the refrigerator . Please take time to preview upon arrival.

Neighbourhood highlights
Walking distance to all downtown restaurants and shops. Ms Bette’s favorite lunch cafe ( Stella and Me) is 4 1/2 blocks at N. Main and Washington, turn right when facing the street after leaving the house. Along the way you will encounter; historical homes, shops, art, our welcome center, restaurants and wine tasting. Our countryside is dotted with wineries and state parks ( great hiking).
