Authentic flour mill of the seventeenth century. It is a full rental property located in the middle of nature, in the heart of Andalusia, halfway between Córdoba, Málaga, Jaén and Granada. With private pool, free and unlimited WIFI.

The space
This old building preserves the original and rural aspect of the area, where you will find peace and relaxation. Located at the foot of the Arroyo Seco, surrounded by extensive olive groves and exuberant vegetation, it offers an ideal place to enjoy the natural environment.

The mill has a museum with old machinery that is shown free of charge to all guests who request it. This museum is not open to the public, therefore you will enjoy total privacy. There are two family houses about 25 meters away from the property that does not affect such privacy and mill independence.

Guest access
Guests have free and unlimited internet access, satellite television on a flat screen TV, DVD and games.
One of the highlights is its large private protected pool for recreation for children and adults (1.20 - 2.10 deep) and (11 x 6 square meters) with sunbeds, umbrellas and sofas in the rest area. We also have a barbecue by the pool for family meals at the large outdoor table. The pool area, as well as sun beds and umbrellas also includes bath towels.
The kitchen is well equipped, including a kettle. There is a dishwasher, microwave, oven, blender, toaster and large refrigerator.
Guests can have a crib, a park and a chair for their baby at their request.
The property offers its guests white towels and sheets. For stays longer than one week, these will be changed.

Location

Montefrío, GRANADA, Spain

Pino's home is located in Montefrío, GRANADA, Spain.

El Molino de Albejanar is located on the border of two provinces, Córdoba and Granada. Its location gives it the privilege of being between two natural parks and being in the heart of Andalusia. It offers visitors a wide range of possibilities, which allows visiting many sites in the provinces of Granada, Córdoba, Málaga and Jaén. The privileged location of the mill allows you to visit several places in Andalusia in a single day, since it is only 2 hours from Granada (the Alhambra and Sierra Nevada), Cordoba (Mosque), Ronda (Malaga) and the Costa del Sol.

You can also enjoy a variety of cultural or outdoor activities in its natural and close environment. Among the activities you can do are: hiking, mountain biking, visits to archaeological sites, a visit to the mill that includes explanations offered by the owners on the operation of the old mill, whose machinery is still preserved.

We also recommend that you visit these villages near the accommodation:

- MONTEFRIO: town named by National Geographic as "the town with the best views in the world". In it you can visit: the Villa with its Interpretation Museum of the West of Granada; The Church of the Incarnation; the Rock of the Gypsies (extraordinary archaeological complex that houses a hundred dolmens, a Visigothic necropolis, Roman remains, Visigoths and Arabs).

PRIEGO DE CÓRDOBA: Cradle of the baroque and location of many churches of this style. You can visit El Balcón del Adarve, La Villa, La Fuente del Rey and its various museums.

IZNAJAR: with its impressive reservoir, half an hour from the property, where you can practice water sports.

ALMEDINILLA: People with a lot of history, to talk about Almedinilla is to talk about archeology, culture and heritage. In it you can enjoy the visit to the Bética Route (Camino de Andalucía), La Villa Romana (The Roman Villa), El Ruedo (The Bullring), The Iberian town (The Iberian town), The Hill of the Cross ( The hill of the cross), The Ecomuseum Rio Caicena.

LOJA: City with great history and linked to great moments and great characters.
It has many places to visit.

You can find trails along the river near the house or even walk to the nearest town about 4 km away, which is Algarinejo and enjoy a delicious tapa. We recommend the route of Molinos y Arrroyos. It is one of the most interesting routes in the municipality of Algarinejo. This 2-kilometer route near the Mill, It stretches along the shore of Arroyo Morales in a spectacular landscape full of nature: ponds and hot springs suitable for swimming. Waterfalls, fauna and flora well preserved, archaeological and ethnological remains. Will you dare to discover it?

GASTRONOMY:
We recommend that you do not leave without tasting the local gastronomy in the different restaurants that exist in Algarinejo, the value for money is incredible.

Our family ran this 17th century mill for generations. And now we have proposed that memory is not lost for the enjoyment of our guests. The same vigilance and care that we have put in the recovery of the industrial heritage of this mill, we have also turned over in all its restoration taking care of the smallest detail. We maintain a small library specialized in issues related to the mills that will delight lovers of ethnography.
