Amazing place to stay close to town! Will come back and stay next time! Loved that there was a kitchenette - great for those mornings with a toddler when you don't feel like leaving the house to eat breakfast. Husband (6ft tall) had a little difficulty in the shower due to the slanted ceiling, but I didn't have any issues (5ft, 3in). Cottage was clean, welcoming, and warm for the few cold days we were in town!

We loved our stay in Camden at Amanda’s place. The place was charming and just as described. Camden is a beautiful place in autumn. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet, comfy spot near the city center.

Cozy Airbnb very close to downtown Camden. Spent our honeymoon there and couldn't have asked for a better spot. We were able to check out various places in Maine from Moxie's Fall to Acadia National Park and Camden seemed centrally located. Loved the downtown area of Camden and the Drouthy Bear was an excellent pub with excellent food. Amanda's place was a great and relaxing environment to come home to after a long day of exploring Maine. Everything about our stay was great. Found the place super clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend and would stay here again!

We wouldn’t hesitate to be back at Amanda’s airbnb. It was delightful!! You can’t beat the location either. Just a great time was had. I often rate Airbnb’s cleanliness as 5’s, when sometimes I question it. Not here! I’d rate a 6 if I could. The place sparkled. We locked ourselves out one evening, and even though Amanda wasn’t home, she had an instant solution. Her communication was lightening fast, and helpful. Her tips on where to go, brewery recommendations for my IPA loving husband, we’re spot on. She even shared some of her favorite beers from her stocks with him. Generous and kind. I’d recommend to everyone and would be back in an instant myself.

This was a great base from which to explore the area for the two of us and our dog. It was an easy walk to everything in town and there was plenty of room to host our local family members in the evening. It looks like the upstairs used to be a small, standalone living quarters before the garage below was also converted so the placement and size of the (well stocked) kitchen and bathroom areas are a bit different. All in all, the apartment was beautiful and just what we wanted/needed. Amanda was also very pleasant and helpful in our limited interactions. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We had such a fun fall weekend in Camden staying at Amanda's guesthouse. It was very clean, cozy, warm and inviting, right in the heart of charming Camden with the convenience of being walking distance to the downtown and harbor. The place was great, very well designed and laid out - wished we could have stayed longer! Amanda was so very friendly and welcoming to have us stay at her property. We would absolutely stay at her place again!

We received a warm welcome from this family. The bed was comfortable and the sheets and duvet were super soft. Fresh flowers were awaiting our arrival. The kitchenette was very well equipped. Perfect location to discover Camden and the area.

I am from Kansas City, Kansas, then lived in San Diego for a few years while teaching at a local Head Start Program, got married and moved to Connecticut. I then had two children moved to Maine and now live in the beautiful town of Camden, ME. I work as a Zumba/Group Power instructor at the local YMCA and my husband is a community pediatrician and founder of Dunk The Junk
(a non-profit to combat childhood obesity). And we have three beautiful children.
