Location

Hawker, South Australia, Australia

Hawker is a very quiet and peaceful town that is steeped in history. In every direction surrounding Hawker is magnificent scenery, beautiful creek beds and an abundance of fabulous picnic spots. There is an abundance of brochures, books and up to date information from the Hawker Visitor Information Centre. DVD's and books on the area are in the house for you to peruse before you set out on your explorations.

The Flinders Ranges is arguably one of the most beautiful places in Australia and, for me, Hawker is a secluded paradise and an easy base for those exploring South Australia's outback. It gives me great joy to create a home away from home for visiting tourists, families and business people. When I'm not welcoming new guests I'm tending to my large garden of Pelargoniums, which you'll see at the rear of the property.

During your stay
I always endeavor to meet and Welcome my guests on arrival and give them a brief introduction to the home. If it is a late arrival, I come over and see them in the morning and have a chat.
During the course of the stay I make a point of giving my clients complete privacy and peace and quiet. However, if they need anything, all they have to do is text and I attend to their request very promptly. Telstra is the operational mobile service in Hawker.
At departure, I always greatly enjoy saying Thank You and wishing them all the best for their next journey.
