Beautiful, eco-friendly apartment in Greenough, 15 mins from Geraldton. This self-built wood & rammed earth home features a private alfresco area where you can unwind. Relax & recharge yourself, get back to nature by collecting fresh eggs from the chooks & pick your own veggies from the garden. Situated 15 mins from the beautiful beaches of Greenough & Geraldton, famous for kitesurfing. 10 mins from Greenough Historical town, this is a great stop on your way north.

The space
This amazing property offers a tranquil space set in 15 acres of grounds. We are dog friendly with plenty of space for your pets to exercise while you're out sightseeing.

The studio apartment has a luxurious king size bed, private kitchen and bathroom with unrestricted use of the grounds.

The kitchen is equipped with ample storage and utensils, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, double hot plate and fridge/freezer.

There is a private lounge area with TV, Netflix, WiFi, coffee table and extra seating. The lounge has a sofa bed which can accommodate 2 people. The apartment is attached to the main house, fully self-contained with its own private entrance and ample parking. A washer and dryer is available for guest use.

Guests are welcome to come and go as they please and the host is available at any time. You can try the eggs from our chickens and veggies from our aquaponics garden.

Situated only 15 minutes drive from Geraldton, with plenty to see and do, you can try surfing or kite surfing in some of the best spots on the West Coast, walking along the Greenough River nature trail, visiting the beautiful Abrolhos Islands or just enjoying getting away from it all at this beautiful natural spot.

The price for the studio apartment is as quoted per night for 2 guests, extra guests will incur an additional charge as mentioned below.

We are 2 minutes from the Greenough River where there is a short walking trail, information on Indigenous history in the area and a place from which to see the many birds that call the river home. We are roughly a 15 minute drive from the Greenough Wildlife Park and the Hampton Arms where you can stop for a hearty lunch or dinner. Geraldton is a 15 minute drive and there you will find grocery stores, cafes, restaurants, activities for kids and of course the iconic Geraldton beaches.

I am happy to give you any tips or help on finding both fun or relaxing things to do and I offer creative woodworking tasters in my artisanal workshop set in the grounds of Greenough Nature Stay. I have personally created and built every item of furniture in the property and would be delighted to offer my services should you be interested in a woodworking session.
