Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Little Yarra Tiny House is situated on a picturesque 30 acre organic farm in the Yarra Valley. With sweeping views of the farm, guests can have a swim in the nearby Little Yarra River, or simple enjoy the farm and beautiful birds from the large deck.

The space
Little Yarra Tiny House has been built with sustainability in mind and endeavours to tread lightly with a composting toilet (award winning ‘Ecoflow’ composting toilet) and 100% rainwater usage. Access is via a seperate driveway and the dwelling is far enough away from the main homestead so that guests can experience privacy and seclusion.

The architectually designed Tiny House has a mezzanine bedroom which accommodates 2 guests in a queen size bed. It has a kitchen so guests can either eat in or out and a BBQ. The large deck is ideal for alfresco dining or just to soak up the views and country air. There is a wall heater and a split system and due to the small space it heats and cools quickly.

There is a kitchen with stovetop, oven, microwave and BBQ and all the essential kitchen implements to cook delicious meals.

The bathroom includes a shower and composting toilet and above it is a ladder up to a small mezzanine chill out space.

Guest access
Guests are welcome to explore the farm, visiting the cows and sometimes there are even koalas in the surrounding gum trees. Little Yarra River is also just a short walk away on the property and ideal for cooling off in the warmer months.

*** Our beautiful donkeys Izzy and Bella are moving to a new home as looking after them is getting too hard. Thank you for your understanding ☺️

Other things to note
Guests are also able to bring horses onto the property if, for example, partaking in a nearby event. There is a paddock next to the tiny house perfect for this.

There is also a fire pit for guests to light for a cosy night outside (Fire Pit is dependent on fire restrictions in the area in summer so just reach out if unsure whether it can be used.

This property is not suitable for small children as there are open stairs that could be potentially dangerous. You are welcome however to ask about bringing babies along if they are able to sleep in between you.

Also we have a strict no pet policy, apologies for that.

What I provide:
Fresh linen laundered professionally (towels, linen, tea towels, hand towels, bath mat)
Tea, sugar and locally roasted coffee
A plunger for coffee
Olive oil, salt and pepper
Something sweet in the fridge ☺️
Firewood and firelighters etc.
