We do not live nearby, but we love the area and hope you will too!
With a home in a place like Edinburgh, I get to be a tourist in my own city! You'll love it here, and I hope you'll find our rental cottage a true home-from-home.
Love taking photographs; baking cakes; visiting libraries; reading; researching family history and walking all over Edinburgh. Have even walked a marathon and 2 half-marathons round Edinburgh in the dark. Along with husband Sandy, we've owned our holiday home in Crail, Fife since 1992, and have spent many happy holidays there with our family. Our Edinburgh holiday home is in a place in the old town which has particular family significance for me (and not just because it's in an old brewery!).
Particularly like travelling by train, and hope to recreate the inter-railing journeys of my youth in my retirement. What about you?
