You’ll have the house to yourself.
This residence has been a loved family home for many decades, and comfortably meets the needs of any group wanting a stress free environment where parents can relax and children can be children without the worry of fingerprints on the wall and spills on the carpet. Other than minor renovations over the years, the home is a classic representation of an original Snowy home built for the workers that made their way to this region to work on the Snow Mountain Scheme with their families.

The space
The residence is an original Snowy home which was located at Khancoban at the commencement of the Snowy Hydro Project in the 50s. It is a basic home but is clean and light for you to enjoy. Some guests may not appreciate the house as it is for some reason ie high expectations which makes difficult to host.

Khancoban, New South Wales, Australia

The town was created for the needs of the Snowy Hydro workers post war, and remains mainly original. The township is a peaceful and pretty place to enjoy the serenity of the Snowy Mountain views and changing views throughout the year. There is a coffee shop, post office, chemist and take away and fuel at the petrol station. Please note there are limited food outlets, and all close at 5pm . The pub does offer counter meals for those wishing to eat out.
