Quiet, Clean, Refreshing Comfort w/ Queen Bed for a trip to Yellowstone Park, our larger room, only 8 mins from Bozeman Yellowstone Int'l Airport, just off Interstate, in family friendly community. I also have another queen room (rented separately) if you are a group or family of 4.

The space
Between two Ski Resorts, or Restful Comfort for your trip to Yellowstone, and only 8 minutes from Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport; Just off Interstate @ Jct to 85/191, a main road to Yellowstone. A large, bright, cozy, clean room with Queen Bed, couch, coffee, w/ High Speed Internet, and just 6-8 miles from Bozeman, MT, we are experienced former B&B Hostess/Host with Wilderness & Canoe Guiding Experience, and now 13 years as Airbnb Hosts. Near Headwaters of the Missouri River where the Jefferson, Madison & Gallatin rivers all come together for some of the best Fly-Fishing in the World. Museum Of the Rockies, and many Restaurants nearby in Belgrade & Bozeman as well as Big Sky Resorts, we are midway between 2 Downhill and Cross Country Ski Centers: Most well known, Big Sky and Lone Mountain Ranch (X-C) are south through a most beautiful Canyon; and a local choice, Bridger Bowl Ski Center and Bohart Ranch (X-C). In a friendly neighborhood, with small grocery that has Wilcox's Ice Cream & Cones, and a Pond for swimming or walking around (also great if you are with your with your dogs), and a great play park, all within walking distance of the house. Between 2 entrances to Yellowstone, home where the Buffalo, Elk & the Grizzly Bears Roam. Bozeman Hot Springs on the way home from West Yellowstone. Yellowstone is also a GREAT place to visit in Autumn, Spring & WINTER as many animals come back down off the Mountains into the Valleys, so there is more to see; in the fall, the Elk are Bugeling, bugs are gone, & the days are still warm. During covid-19, closing down gave us time to paint & renovate the living & dining rooms and we are excited to have guests coming again !!

Guest access
The kitchen & bright dining area has been very popular for cooking & eating evening meals. The front porch is popular for having your morning Tea or Coffee, and is the cooler side of the house in the afternoon. Once the summer day cools down, there is a firepit out back by the gardens for sitting in the evenings. There are books and National Geographic Magazines, etc. everywhere for reading.

During your stay
We will visit with you as much as you want. We have traveled & had fun jobs and love to share of our experiences. We respect if you want quiet or all the time alone or go out on the town. We try to be here as much as is possible while we have guests, and provide a hearty continental breakfast, often providing homemade baked goods.

Other things to note
We'd like to see more people come in the Winter because we have the best Cross Country & Downhill Skiing at Bridger, Lone Mountain & Big Sky. The Ice Climbing Expo is held here in Bozeman is also a good biking town with all levels of hiking trails. And of course, Yellowstone is open year round. We like to send our guests to the Hot Springs: there is Bozeman Hot Springs, where there is music on Thursday & Sunday Evenings; and there is Norris Hot Springs, more rustic with home grown garden vegies with every dish, and music on Weekends.

... and this is Johnny. We both love being outside & whatever we do is often outside. Hiking, camping, Backpacking, Canoeing, Biking, even working in the garden or cooking, as long as it is in the Fresh Air. But we are over 60 now, so we love just sitting outside reading. As Wilderness Camp Director, Camp Counselor, Children's Minister or Wilderness Guide, & Teacher, I have had great travel experience & opportunity to live in 15 beautiful states, often working as Bed & Breakfast Hostess or Hotel Caretakers. My husband grew up at a Camp his father owned, and loves to Canoe for days & even months on end. He is a great host, and loves to cook & tell his outdoor stories ! We spend a lot of time in Yellowstone National Park in all Seasons, photographing and watching wildlife. We know where the Elk, Bison & Bear are during each season. We have spent 8 days Canoeing in the Backcountry of Yellowstone Lake. We have returned to canoe in the Boundary Waters of Minnesota (BWCA) for weeklong trips. We go to many National Parks, with trips to Glacier each year. We spent a Christmas in Moab, Utah, where we saw a slight dusting of beautiful snow @ Arches & Canyonlands National Parks. We have also done home building outreaches to Mexico, and Children's Camps in Peru. We also eat and plan events with the International Students at Montana State University here in Bozeman. We have loved having people from all over the world stay with us and hear their stories !
