Fantastic holiday house with the most amazing views from both the huge deck, & every room in the house. Open plan living. Wake up & laze in bed looking out along the world famous Bay of Fires. 150m walk to Binalong Bay Beach, 100m to the Restaurant. Peoples Choice Award for Best Place to Stay in Tasmania 2015/6.

The space
Featuring an open plan living/dining kitchen, and an enormous, partially glassed- in deck, to protect you in all weather. FREE WIFI available. There are 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. The master has a king size bed, built-in robes, doors which open out onto the deck, and an en-suite. The en-suite has heated flooring and towel rail, large walk in shower, vanity, toilet and bidet. The second queen bedroom has not only a huge window so you can enjoy the views, but also double doors, and built-in robe. The third bedroom features sliding door out to the deck, again with views from the bedroom over the Bay of Fires, built in robe and a queen bed. The second bathroom is just across the hall from the other bedrooms, and has just had a brand new make-over, so now features under floor heating, heated towel rails and brand new vanity/toilet/shower.
The modern kitchen has it all. Upmarket appliances, one button Jurra coffee machine, (plunger if you prefer), hotplates, dishwasher, convection microwave, toaster, electric frypan and kettle, cutlery, glasses, crockery and kitchen utensils, with a full size fridge and freezer. There is even a quality rice cooker - slow cooker.
If you can stand leaving the property, there is a restaurant a short 100 metre stroll down the hill. The laundry is behind sliding doors in the hall, and has a washing machine, laundry trough, iron and ironing board. There is an electric clothes dryer, and an outdoor clothes line.
The outside entertaining area is a huge, covered, modern deck. Lined on one side with wall to ceiling glass, so you can enjoy it all year round. There is an outdoor dining setting which seats 8, a modern lounge setting, and sun lounges, and a family size WeberQ BBQ. And did I mention the views?

SPOIL YOURSELF! If required we can sometimes arrange a very well-known chef to come and be your private chef for the evening - or lunch - but depends on his availability!

PRICES QUOTED: Are for 2 guests only and vary at different times of the year.

Where you’ll be

Binalong Bay, Tasmania, Australia

The Bay of Fires was named as the world's hottest travel destination in 2009 by Lonely Planet.

A quote from smh's news article..."The Bay is described by Lonely Planet as "a castaway bay" with a 29 kilometres ribbon of sea and surf spooling out from the old whaling town of St Helens, on Tasmania's north-east coast.

"White beaches of hourglass-fine sand, Bombay Sapphire sea, an azure sky - and nobody," the guide says.

"This is the secret edge of Tasmania, laid out like a pirate's treasure map of perfect beach after sheltered cove, all fringed with forest.

"It's not long since the Bay of Fires came to international attention, and the crowds are bound to flock. Now is the time to visit."

Take a boat tour with BAY OF FIRES ECO TOURS - see website - and get to see the whole of the Bay of Fires from the ocean - which is really the best way!
Book at Meresta Eatery and walk down for a meal - the food is fabulous!
Buy the best oysters in Australia at LEASE 65 just a few kms away and bring them home with a bottle of wine to eat on the deck (oyster shucker available)
Visit SKIPPERS on the WHARF for fresh fish and chips or seafood direct from the boats.
We also recommend FURNEAUX Restaurant for lovers of FRENCH Food.
Grab some supplies at EAST COAST PROVEDORE opposite the Post Office - wonderful Tasmanian fresh produce.
