The neighbourhood is quiet and rural beside Loch Oich, lovely walks all around. Fort Augustus is only 15 minutes away and has lots of great places to eat, where you can watch the boats going through the Locks into Loch Ness. There is also an excellent shop in the garage with a variety of fresh food and drinks, and includes a gift shop.

I am now into my 70s and have been married for 47 years to my husband Geoff. We have lived in this house for 40 years and still love it. It's an old Forestry house. My husband worked for the Forestry Commission for many years. We are only a few minutes from the GREAT GLEN WAY and also only 15 minutes from FORT AUGUSTUS the beginning of Loch Ness going North where you can get a great boat trip on the Loch also great places to have lunch or your dinner and watch boats coming through the locks. We are both retired now, but love gardening, walking and travelling to some of our favourite places, the ISLE OF SKYE only one hour away, the sands of MORAR for beautiful beaches, Glen Affric, Applecross, Plockton, the GLENFINNAN MONUMENT (Harry Potter viaduct) the Isle of Mull, Oban and shopping in Inverness, all can be visited in a day. We love animals and have two dogs Echo and Pip also our elderly cat Tinkerbell. I love walking the dogs every day in nearby forests and rivers. We love reading and the house is full of books and nick knacks and pictures collected over the years. We all love films and good TV drama. Our motto is to be kind to all living creatures and try not to judge. Live and let live.
