A beautiful quiet place which I used to study and relax before and during exams in Albury. So much lovely natural light, and the fire was definitely appreciated in the constant on/off drizzle.

This is the perfect place to stay if you're looking for peace and quiet. The cottage is clean, spacious and fitted with lovely things. Jacqui is the perfect host with warm bread and homemade butter on arrival. We had the most relaxing trip to Staghorn Flat and will definitely be back!

We loved our stay. Very kind, welcoming and accommodating family. Make sure to take apples and carrots for Ruby the horse and Charlotte and Lucy the goats. Their dog Charlie loves chasing sticks and is very friendly.

The cottage is comfortable and has everything you need for a relaxing family holiday in the country - the views are amazing! Great for the kids to get out on the farm. Jacqui is a great host and the warm fresh baked loaf and farm fresh eggs were a real treat. A nice warm fire was burning upon arrival to take the chill off the cottage - lovely!

Great place for a quiet getaway. Loved the slow combustion fire and quietly contemplating the lovely peaceful animals and the beautiful view. Would also be great for children.

Had a great stay at the cottage! Loved the area and all the animals. My niece enjoyed feeding the animals and the tire swing was in such a beautiful spot.

Jacqui's cottage was very beautiful and she was a very warm host. A very nice farm stay far from the city life of Sydney. It was a wonderful experience for our family and we enjoyed it so much celebrating our daughter's first birthday. We'll be back soon definitely. Thank you so much Jacqui.

I am very family orientated, my family comes first in everything and I basically just love people. I enjoy meeting people and hearing their stories and where they have come from and the journeys they are on. I can learn so much from people and that's why when I have time I love reading autobiographies and biographies, it opens up my world that bit more. I love living on the land and getting my hands dirty and I love cooking, bike-riding and renovating old furniture. In the last 5 years we have travelled to Thailand as a family and stayed on 'out of the way' Islands and it is my favourite place in the whole world. I love my country and I am very proud of it so for me hosting guests whether they are from Melbourne or Malaysia means that I can share our beautiful place with them and they can have the country experience without the huge price tag attached. My life motto I think would have to be "Don't take life too seriously as no-one gets out alive" .
